Lonely Place

There is a lonely place,
Inside of me.
To want and not have,
To need and not get,
Distance and space,
Time and place,
To miss one moment of time,
That could be spent with you,
Even if it be silent time,
Is, to me, heartbreaking.
The place I want to be and can't.
The thing I want to see I can't.
What I want more,
Than anything is,
To feel......
I can't
To hold......
I can't
To love......
I can't.
I can't touch you,
I can't be with you,
I can't see you.
I try day in and day out,
To say in prose,
How you make me feel.
How deep my feelings run,
Light and dark,
Pulling me into you.
I find myself waiting for your"grin".
Soft flowing peace runs over me,
For then I know I am with you.
Once again......
Distance and space disappear,
My place is no longer lonely,
Nor dark..............
But filled, with your sweet light.
