| She walks the land alone Looking for Wolf-Man Hoping he will get his first kill So he can join the pack Half woman, half animal Without he, she can't be Come Wolf_Man Answer her call The sound she makes Is lonely, high pitched Carried out over the night And Wolf-Babe Continues the hunt Wolfbite won't help Says Wolf-Man has To do it himself And he watches For moon rises And................. She waits For Wolf-Man "Copyright" � Joyce Gosdin 10/13/2000 Full Moon 2 Standing Still Wolf-Babe looks around The Moon is full The goddess smiles Sprinkles Wolf-Babe With star dust In a swirl of flashing Sparking Glowing Pulsing light Wolf-Babe stands Not on four legs But two As the moonlight Strikes her Beauty is reborn Long hair of silver Glints in the bright Moonlight Then she looks up At the moon Flashes of Emerald green Shine from her eyes She looks around Alone And she moans..... Breaks the spell Slowly........ Not two legs anymore But four........ She needs her wolf-Man And once more, You hear her high Pitched Howl........... "Copyright" � Joyce Gosdin 10/13/2000 Full Moon 3 It's dark in the woods Where Wolf-Babe walks With silent creatures Not wanting to be found. Wolf-Babe hungers For her mate................ She knows she has to feed She's getting weak from the hunt She turns and sniffs the air Behind her, over there Glowing eyes in the dark Very quietly, she stalks Very quickly she kills Hunger satisfied Green eyes flash in the dark She turns and smells The air, breathing in, And she starts her hunt again Ever on the search For her Wolf_Man "Copyright" � Joyce Gosdin 10/15/2000 Full Moon 4 Looking ahead into a clearing Wolf-Babe sees a human man Standing on the bank of a river water cascades and run to forever. She watches as he steps into the water She sniffs the air to get his sent There is something about this human Very silently she moves Closer, to watch A flash of green As the moon fills her eyes And she watches......... Why should this human Not make her fear and run Or stalk and kill, She puzzles over this He is but a human man Suddenly he looks her way As if to sense her spirit Watching........waiting For what, she knew not The moon bathes him in light She catches her breath But it comes out as a soft growl He hears.................... Rushes from the water And picks up his gun Wolf_Babe backs up Puzzled as to why She is not afraid of the he She carefully watches the gun He does not see her yet She is well hide............ The two watchers.......... Watch............ "Copyright" � Joyce Gosdin 10/16/2000 Full Moon 5 One sprit very still The other watchful As if the feel in The air is electrified Wolf_babe creeps closer Careful not to make a sound The man listens, Watches But is not afraid The moon shines full behind him Outlining him in pure light He moves, toward the trees Wolf-Babes, ears go up Waiting He comes closer She stands Ready for what awaits her He sees her This beautiful animal Still as a statue Silver gray in color Green eyes....... Shinning in the dark of night Neither move Clouds cover the moon face The man stumbles Falls Losses the gun It fall into the darkness Out of sight Wolf-Babe closes in Jumps on the mans chest He doesn't move Beast eyes locked with Human eyes, Of the deepest blue The air becomes very still The Moon Goddess watches Feels............................. Listens to the twinkle of stars And sees................. Not a beast or a man But two sprites caught In two different forms Separate, one from the other Sprites that should be together And.............. She sprinkles star dust And it fall.............. Ever so slowly........ To Earth............... And she wait............... "Copyright" � Joyce Gosdin 10/17/2000 Full Moon: The Ending Blue eyes meet green eyes The hypnotic stare is intense The Moon Goddess smiles As the startdust falls down Over Wolf_Babe Wolf_Babe rears her head Back And howls........ Sounds more like a scream Long, haunting..................... The stardust clears........ In place of the wolf is........ A beautiful woman Silver hair glistening almost blue In the moon light She brings her head down To stare at the man He looks at her And says.......... " I've been waiting for you" The woman turns her head Listening To the sound of the voices As if she had been Asleep and now....... Awakened............. She sees............. Memories, flooding back Darkness............ Swirling around in her Head............. Light comes........ So, does understanding This is her Wolf-man!!!!!!!! Her mate, her love She lays her head Gently down on his chest He enfolds her in his arms At last Wolf_Babe is home ..................................... The Moon Goddess smiles She closes her eyes Her job well done..............
