| He lived his life for the most part his way. Some called him a bastard, some a lover, some called him Uncle, some a friend. He was many things to many people in his life including an actor who could sing and dance. I meant to create a web page for him over a year ago, but he didn't want me too. He said he wasn't all that special, but I disagree. He was good to me for the most part, but he once said that I seemed to bring out the best in others around me. For the last 16 years we were each other's best friends. My family adopted him as much or more than me. For many years part of him kept looking for a good man to take care of me. He didn't want me to be alone. Bud loved the color yellow, yellow roses, Jane Powell, Broadway musicals, dogs and cats. He collected over 2000 lps of which perhaps 40% were Broadway musicals. 10% are Operas and Classical music and the rest is variety of singers and music from the 1920's on to the 1960's. While he never went to war or fought for our Country, he respected and thanked those who did. Mind you he was not a saint. Some people he just really seemed to enjoy in pushing their "buttons" and annoying the hell out of them. Sometimes he did it because of their arrogant sort of attitude toward him and others. Kathy |
