01/06/2004 - Breaking News.....

It is with great sadness that we at The Kutama Post have learnt of the passing away of yet another illuminary Kutamarian, Damiano Muzavazi ('91-'96). Describing him as "one of the greatest soccer maestros to have ever passed through Kutama", Osmond Tavengwa - a former classmate, teammate and friend - tells us he was tragically killed in a road accident on his team's return home to Chinhoyi after a soccer match. Damiano, who once turned out for the Zimbabwe Under-23s was now playing for Golden Kopje at the time of his death.

More details are unfortunately unavailable at this point in time.

Our sincerest condolonces go out to his family and teammates. May God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.
