ShaktiKendra : This is an accounting software.
This can handle both book-keeping and inventory management.
It requires PhP and MySql to run.
Instructions to install (for linux):
- Download the software by clicking here...
Linux Users :shaktisendra-1.0.tar.bz2
shaktisendra-1.0.tar.gz
Windows Users :shaktisendra-1.0.zip
- shell-prompt: cd $DIR ... where $DIR is the directory where you have saved the tar.bz2 file..
- shell-prompt: tar xvjf shaktikendra-1.0.tar.bz2
- shell-prompt: cd shaktikendra-1.0
- shell-prompt: su -
- Password: ... Then give the root password...
- root@shell-prompt: mysql
- mysql>source $DIR/shaktikendra-1.0/skendra.sql
- mysql>quit
This brings us to the end of the installation..
Now, open $DIR/shaktikendra-1.0/index.php in your favourite browser..................

ShaktiKendra also should work fine on Windows,
but I don't know the installation instructions for Windows.
So, I request all Windows users to bear with me
and to modify of the above instructions accordingly.
