Yuzo Takada: The Real Man Behind The Myth. (Simple Bio)
Yuzo Takada: (1963-)
Born as Yuji Takada on March 31,1963 in Tokyo, Japan; Mr. Takada started drawing manga for Biweeky Young Magazine in 1983, where he created some semi-pornographic illustrations. Because of this he was somewhat unsatisfied with work . What he really wanted to do was create a storyline that involves the supernatural (just look at Blue Seed and see if it doesn't have a lot of supernatural influences in it) . Nevertheless, he was successful at what he did. Eventually, he got his chance when he created the ever-poular 3X3 Eyes (Sazan Eyes) back in 1987, giving him further recognition. He also created the comical Bannou Bunka Neko Musume (All-Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku-Nuku), Everyday Is Sunday, Genzo Hitogata, and of course, Blue Seed. He is also the author of several artbooks (among them are illustration books about 3X3 Eyes). I haven't really read or seen any of his other works besides Nuku-Nuku, 3X3 Eyes (manga), and Blue Seed. It was really hard to find a picture of this guy, so I hope he appreciates this humble tribute anyways.Heh *shrug*.
