from restless slumber
valiant light
of distant sun
greets my eyes
through misty haze
gentle musings
of inspiration
await my isolated soul
prisms of glorious color
paint my journey
in solemn anticipation
of the destination of her heart
sweet greetings of rainbow’s end
visions of rapturous splendor
spill forth
from the caverns of my mind
what heart does inspire
devotion within my own
whose path shall blend
with mine as one
what shall become
of the path not yet clear
