he made his way down a lonesome road
never sure which way to go
hoping for some sort of sign
to help him forget what he left behind
through broken hearts and long lost friends
wondering if the search would end
wondering what the journey would bring
would this road lead to anything?
the road was rough and winding and long
could he find where he belonged?
how long would he have to roam
till he found a place that felt like home
nothing is nothing
nothing is everything
everything is something
anything
then one day he found a rose
in a place where nothing ever grows
he looked up at the setting sun
and he realized that his search was done
it’s not in how your story ends
it’s how it rolls and turns and bends
put the destination on a shelf
because it’s about the journey itself
no need to worry where life may take you
home is where your heart beats true
no matter whether you’re near or far
try to appreciate wherever you are
nothing is nothing
nothing is everything
everything is something
anything
