Cut'n'Paste
After disasters it is always difficult to judge whether humour is appropriate or not. After the London bombings on July 7 British cartoonists were sooner back on track than their colleagues around the world. We found many (American) cartoons linking London to the WTC, British lions consoled by American symbols and incessant imagery of Big Ben and Winston Churchill. Not especially funny. The following four examples prove there are other ways to get over terrorism. Three cartoons and one quote found in Private Eye, one found on Daryl Cagle's site.
