PPV - Unforgiven - 24th September 2000

Steph and Triple H backstage: Steph is worried, she has a funny feeling about tonight and is worried about Triple H's ribs.
  Triple H tells her that it's all going to come to an end tonight, he's gonna leave Kurt Angle lying in a pile in the ring. Triple H then goes on about what kind of friend Kurt was, hitting Stephs husband in the ribs with a sledgehammer then forcing himself on Steph. Stephanie isn't sure and says that mayber Kurt wasn't such a good friend after all. "Maybe ?" questions Triple H.

Kurt is in Foley's office, he asks what kind of show Foley is running as he just got attacked by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Kurt says that even though he just took a beating he's still gonna go out and face Triple H. Foley says that's good because the match is now a no-DQ match after what Kurt did on Thursday.

Triple H is in Foley's office now. He says that he's going to beat the heck out of Kurt, he wants to retire Kurt. Triple H wants to be sure that Foley will call the match right down the middle.

Kurt has a lot on his mind. A no-DQ match with Triple H, Stone cold kicking ......... trying to kick his ass and Steph is still mad at him. Trish Stratus comes in, she tells Kurt that she could help him out if need be. Kurt jumps up and walks off, he has a plan.

Kurt comes out for the match and gets straight on the mike. He tells us that it's Stephanie's birthday. He asks for the crowds help and sings a rather off-key version of Happy Birthday.

Kurt goes after Triple H's ribs early on. Triple H turns it around and sends Kurt to the outside. He clears the Spanish annouce table, but Kurt gets back and the action returns to the ring.
  Triple H seems to have Steph convinced that Kurt isn't her friend. She's always clapping and cheering for him.

Triple H has Kurt outside and is going to go for a pedigre on the announcers table when Kurt hits a low blow. Kurt then gives Triple H and over-head-belly-to-belly suplex from the English annouce table onto and through the Spanish announce table. Kurt takes complete control of the match from there until he tries a moonsault and Triple H gets out of the way. Triple H manages to turn it around and hits a pedigre, but only half gets it. He calls Steph into the ring and tells her to choose. Steph kicks Kurt up the backside and Triple H gets a full pedigre for the pin.

Stephanie goes over and checks on Triple H, then looks in on Kurt Angle when Triple H gets up. Steph seems to be questioning her own decision. Triple H then grabs Steph and gives her a really rough kiss. Steph seems really confused and waits a minute before following Triple H out.
