WWF News: Triple H, Steph and More Posted by Brandon Newman on October 11, 2000 Well from here, we move onto the Stephanie/HHH/Angle storyline, which actually took a backseat to the above festivities on Raw. Nothing all that earth shattering happened, as Steph still has not decided one way or another whether she will take King Kurt up on his offer from last week. To make matters even more intriguing, Triple H continues to banish his wife from ringside when he wrestles and after coming out on the losing side on RAW, Stephanie turned the tables and sort of rubbed the setback into his face. If this angle logically proceeds like I expect it to, by the time No Mercy wraps up, Kurt might have BOTH Stephanie and the world title by his side. If Steph is out to prove to her husband that she is an "asset" at ringside, what better way to do it than to help her friend, Kurt Angle, win the WWF world title in his match against the Rock? I suppose if the WWF wanted to speed up the fallout, they could once again go in the direction of Steph "accidentally" costing Triple H his match at the PPV against Chris Benoit. It surely wouldn't sit well with Hunter to see his wife contribute to his loss but contribute to Angle's win. One thing to remember, Triple H has stressed time and time again that he is making a "business" decision and that by ordering Steph to stay away from his matches implies nothing personal nor does it convey his feelings towards her. I'm sure we're going to see Stephanie return the favor by making a "business" decision of her own and ultimately choose to accompany Angle to ringside. As much Trips will hate it, he simply won't have an answer to it since he'd be eating his own words so to speak.
