WWF News: Triple H, Stephanie, Kurt Angle Posted by Brandon Newman on October 07, 2000 After a stalling of sorts over the past week's TV shows, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and Kurt Angle once again kicked things into high gear, with an imminent split between the WWF's main couple looming on the horizon. If you haven't heard yet, Triple H basically told Stephanie to stay out of his matches and Steph appears to have agreed, albeit hesitantly. To make matters more juicy, she helped King Kurt as a way to show to her husband what she is capable of and isn't the liability that he makes her out to be. True to form, Kurt jumped on the opportunity and has offered Stephanie a chance to be his permanent valet. Things ended there as Steph has thus far only stated that she'll think about it. This has the makings of a classic finish where Stephanie not only ultimately kicks her husband to the curb, she walks out hand-in-hand with Angle. Unfortunately for fans who are growing impatient, I sorta doubt that the storybook will finish this week but it should definitely be touched on nonetheless. The culimination almost surely will not be reached until No Mercy or shortly thereafter, after which Triple H and Kurt Angle may once again do battle at the Survivor Series PPV. One thing to keep in mind though is that if current storylines are to be accounted for, Triple H and Kurt Angle will be placed into differing matches for No Mercy, which means that if a shake-up is to come down, it may have to be something so drastic and obvious as Steph "accidentally" costing Triple H his match against Benoit and "accidentally" helping Angle to win his against the Rock. I use the term "accidentally" rather loosely and rather sarcastically, because her full loyalties may already be with Kurt to begin with. WWF News: Stephanie McMahon Posted by Brandon Newman on October 07, 2000 Stephanie "McMahon-Helmsley" will be a guest host this Sunday night on Heat, joining Michael Cole and Tazz.
