Report - 30th October 2000
Raw Is War

We don't see Kurt and Steph until a bit into the show, when we do it's when a limo pulls up outside, in the parking lot.

Out of the limo comes Kurt along with Edge and Christian. They're excited because it's Edge's birthday and E&C had the night off and Kurt doesn't have to defend his World Title. The person they have to thank for this is Stephanie and they give her a round of applause as she gets out of the limo. But Steph doesn't look too good (ED: of course she looks good, but doesn't look well). Steph seems to have the flu and doesn't really feel like celebrating.

Christian is giving Edge his presents, but Kurt seems more concerned about Stephanie's health. He tells her she should see a doctor, but she tells him she's okay.

Triple H walks in. He says to Steph that she should be at home because she was sick. Kurt says that he was telling her the same thing. Stephanie tells them that this is a very important night here on RAW, just as she's explaining, she jumps up and runs off to the bathroom, holding her stomach.

We're backstage again; Kurt gives Edge's his present of a signed picture. He then tells Steph that she really should go home, Kurt needs his business partner at 100%. Steph says that she's feeling better now. Edge and Christian start messing about with Kazoos. This pisses of Triple H and he kicks them out.

Triple H has decided: Steph has to go back to the hotel, and get some rest. Kurt agrees (ED: What? With Triple H?). Stephanie says OK, but only after the Steel Cage match between Austin and Rikishi (ED: still can't believe .... Rikishi!).

Kurt and Triple H escort Stephanie to the limo. She says she really should be here for the number one contenders match. Both Kurt and Triple H tell her that Kurt can handle it. Triple H gives Steph a hug, but no hug for Kurt. He gets the door and Steph climbs in the limo. She thanks both men and says it makes her feel good. The both says "You're welcome" at the same time and smile and wave as the car pulls away.

Kurt says to Triple H that he thinks it's good that they could bury the hatchet. Triple H tells him that he hopes Kurt has his gear because he's gonna be in for a long night. Kurt's a bit confused because he's supposed to have the night off.

Triple H goes to see Mick Foley, he asks him for a match with Kurt Angle tonight, non-title. Foley agrees. Huge cheap pops between Foley and Hunter, pathetic.

Foley comes out. He tells that crowd about the match tonight between Triple H and Kurt Angle. He tells them that it's inconceivable that two men should be fighting over Stephanie, but he made the match because it makes Triple H happy and seeing Kurt get his ass kicked would make Foley happy. He then announces that Debra will be his lieutenant commissioner, blah, blah.

Kurt is talking to Edge and Christian; he can't believe the match tonight. Edge tells him to smack the snot out of Triple H's never ending nose (ED: That's true!).

A good match between Steph's two men, Triple H is in good control, and even crotches Kurt on the ring post (ED: he won't be messing with your wife tonight). The men battle to the outside where Triple H pedigrees Kurt on the announce table. He then throws Kurt back into the ring and starts beating on him. The ref tries to break it up, but gets knocked down, causing the DQ. Triple H pedigrees the ref then hits Kurt with a chair. Edge and Christian come down to help Kurt but get KO'd as well.
Smackdown

Stephanie must still have been un-well because she wasn't at Smackdown (ED: Get well soon Steph, at least for Monday night).
Our Olympic Hero and WWF champion was there and he was defending his World Title.

The opening segment is mostly Rock, Austin and then Rikishi. Kurt comes out near the end to tell Rocky that the title match shouldn't happen tonight because, not only is Steph not here, but Kurt fears for his life when the Rock is around. He compares Rock to another athlete turned movie star, then paraphrases Johnny Cochrane. As the two heels leave, Stone Cold gives Rock the stunner.

The match goes ahead but ends when Rikishi comes down and attacks the Rock. Austin then comes out, kicks Rikishi, then Kurt out of the ring only to turn into a RockBottom.
