Week Beginning - 14 August 2000

RAW

Kurt Angle is first out tonight, attacking Triple H's character saying he has no integrity and is jealous of Kurt. He says it pains him to see his "gental souled friend" with a loser like Triple H.
  Triple H storms out to the ring and the two are ready to go at it, but Shane gets in and stops it. He tells them that beacause of their fighting Stephanie is getting hurt. Shane tries to convince them that the Rock should be their target.
  Oh Boy! Here comes the commish! And after some cheap pops sets up a match with Triple H, Shane and Kurt Angle againest Rocky and the Dudleys.

Kurt is waiting outside and here comes a limo. It's Steph! Kurt is there to thank her for coming back to him on Smackdown. What better way to thank her than to plant a KISS on her. Oh yeah ..... second base for King Kurt!

Steph is coming through the back, she meets up with her husband, he is well pissed off! Triple H starts shouting at Steph and she decides to leave.

Shane's having a chat with Kurt, he's worried about where this "friends thing" is going (Ed: So you should be). Kurt doesn't like him questioning his integrity and walks off.

Joe has found Kurt in his dressing room, he tells Kurt that in 30 minutes they'll be somebody to meet him in the parking lot.

Joe also meets Triple H and gives him a similar message.

Kurt and Triple H meet up back stage and are about to go at it when a car almost runs them over.
  A minute or so later they're shown getting out of the car, with owner Vince McMahon! He gives them a stiff talking to and tells them they'll be in trouble if they ever tramatise his daughter again.

And so to the match ....
  All hell breaks loose when the ref gets KO'd. Shane is about to be put through a table when Edge and Christian attack the Dudleys, Rock gets distracted and Shane, Triple H and Kurt take advantage, beating up on Rocky with an Olympic Slam and a pedigre.

SMACKDOWN

The McMahon-Helmsley (ED: LOL) faction come out with Kurt Angle. Shane talks about how great his family is ... Blah, Blah. Kurt Angle apologizes to Triple H and offers to shake his hand. Triple H gives a half-hearted apology and shoke his hand. Mick Foley interupted in the middle of a group hug.
  Foley says he likes to spread joy and thus shows the pic of Kurt kissing Stephanie. (ED: Made me feel all warm inside) he tells them that one of them will face the Rock tonight (non-title), but they'd have to decide who.

  Backstage, Triple H and Kurt are alredy arguing about who should get the shot. Shane and Steph step outside to discuss it.

  Kurt tells Triple H that his is the Olympic Champion, Triple H doesn't care. Shane returns and says that it will be him to face the Rock.

  Stephanie tells Shane that she has a plan, she should face the Rock, Shane laughs then leaves the room.

  Stephanie is ready to tell her plan, but Shane says that it will be Triple H to face the Rcok as Kurt Angle got the last shot. Kurt is upset. He says it's not about who got the last shot, it's about Shane and Triple H not accepting his friendship with Steph.

Kurt is leaving the arena beacause he feels left out. Stephanie tries to bring him back, but he goes on.

Triple H took on the Rock...
  Before that match Mick Foley comes out and says that he knows how much Shane and Steph wanted title matches, so on Monday, Shane would take on Steve Blackman and Steph would defend againest Lita.
  The real action started when the Rock knocked down the ref (again!?). Rock has Triple H down and is going for the People's Elbow, but here comes Kurt Angle with a chair. Rock stops to beat up on Angle, Triple H attacks from behind, hits the pedigree and gets the pin. Kurt and Triple H shake hand afterwards.

Sunday Night Heat

It's true! It's true!

Kurt and Matt Hardy wrestle a good match, watched from the back by Triple H and Shane. Kurt scored the win following an Olympic Slam, and Stephanie was there to help Kurt celebrate the victory.

*** What you didn't see on Heat was that Stephanie had come down to ringside and attacked Lita, slamming her into the steps and announcers table. Kurt then used the womens title belt on Matt before going for the Olympic Slam, which would seal the victory. ***
