REPORT - Week Beginning - 2nd October

RAW is WAR

  Rock is out, and pissed off. He wanted to smash Kurt Angle's face with a chair last week on Smackdown but was stopped by "Stephanie McMahon-Angle ...... wait ... that's not right ...... Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley" (ED: Wait ... that's not right!).
  Rock calls out Kurt saying he'll give Kurt a shot at the title.
  Kurt comes out and tells The Rock that he wasn't lucky and that he will defeat the Rock tonight, become Champion and show everyone how to "be like Kurt".
  Foley's here now and asks the Rock to step aside because there's someone who wants Kurt Angle even more (ED: that's Steph .... right!?).
  Here comes Triple H with Stephanie McMahon-Whatever. Triple H points out to Kurt that this is "Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley" (ED: Thanks for clearing that up). She isn't Kurt's friend, she's Triple H's wife (ED: Wait ... that's not right!). He says that he's been messing around with Kurt Angle when he should have been continuing his World Title reign. Triple H asks Foley for a match with Kurt, to teach him a lesson once and for all.
  Foley claims to be in a bit of a spot. Triple H want Kurt, but Kurt wants the World Title. So what Foley does is make a match, Triple H vs Kurt Angle, the winner is the number one contender.

  Before the match, Triple H says to Steph that she must stay backstage. Steph is upset when Triple H walks off. Beniot comes up and asks Steph how her head is (ED: I think it's fine), she lays a big slap on him, but he just stands there with that stupid grin on his face.

  Steph came out during the match anyway, disobeying her future ex-husband.
  After Triple H hit an elbow drop through the announcers table and brought him inside for a superplex, Beniot came to ringside and grabbed Stephanie. Triple H went after Beniot. Kurt then comes out and pushes Triple H into the steel steps before throwing him back into the ring and going for a steel chair. Just as Kurt was swinging back, Steph grabbed the chair, Triple H cheap shotted Kurt and was about top deliver the pedigre when Beniot grabbed Steph again. When Triple H went after him, Beniot nailed him with a chair, Kurt got the Olympic Slam, the three count and the title shot.
  Triple H was really pissed off and went mad at Steph, then he left her in the ring, crying.

SmackDown

  Triple H walks into his dressing room. He asks Steph why she is there, he told her to stay at the hotel. Steph asks since when did he tell her what to do? He tells Steph that she is always getting into trouble when she comes down to ringside and he has to save her. He blames Steph for his loss to Kurt Angle on RAW then goes on to say that she is a liability. Steph starts to cry and walks off.

  Kurt Angle is teaming with his good friends Edge and Christian againest Rikishi (ED: I can't believe it! - watch RAW this week) and Too Cool. Some-how, Too Cool get the upper-hand. 'Lawler's Son' is on the top turnbuckle, preparing for the Hip-Hop-Drop when Stephanie comes out of no where and shoves him down. Kurt gets the Olympic Slam to continue his winning streak.

  Steph gets back to her dressing room. Triple H wants to know why she just helped Kurt Angle. She says it was to show him that she can be useful at ring side. She reminds him that she is a McMahon. He tells her that she just showed him that she could've gotton hurt again. Steph says that the only one hurting her is Triple H and walks off.

  Kurt has caught up with Steph, just before she left. He thanks her for helping him out and tells her that he regognises the great asset that she can be (ED: Great Assets? - Why yes!). He then asks Steph if she would accompany him to the ring on a permanent basis. Steph says that she'll think about it and thanks Kurt for appreciating her.
