Our little boy is growing up so fast! I wish he would slow it down a little. GEEZ
Ok, Im going to have to go get the baby book to be accurate with developement, but, here goes!
Ethan is so strong, he was lifting up his head in the hospital! So neck muscles have been strong since the beginning.
He started sleeping though the night at about 7 weeks of age. He has since decided sleeping through the night isn't all it's cracked up to be, and "calls" me 2 or 3 times a nite, for the past month.
He rolled over from tummy to back at about 8 weeks old. Did it about 10 times since then, but has realized if he waits Mommy or Daddy will help him, so he doesn't have to roll! Ha ha
Ethan had his first bottle of formula on his 8 week birthday. (And hated it)
He moved from bassinett to crib on December 23, 2001. I know this because my sister Tiffany gave birth to her Son on 12-22 and needed the bassinett. (That was just about the time Ethan decided he didn't want to sleep through the night!)
He tried his first "solid" food at exactly 4 months of age (Dec 4, 2001), and has since tried many foods such as rice cereal, oatmeal, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, blueberries, bananas, peas, green beans, potatoes, peaches and carrots! Recently we added zweback toast, biter biscuits, and a little bit of pureed chicken. Yuummm
Ethan got to meet his Grandma Michal and Grandpa Linn for the first time on December 23, 2001. It was great. Although it was a short visit =o( Ethan was a charmer the whole time. (As always)
I snuck him on the scale when I went to the peds office with my sister yesterday (1-15-02), and Ethan weighs 18lbs 14oz! With his clothes on, but, what a big boy!
I know it's been a long time since I updated, but I kept up on his pictures until last month, in an online photo album (see my pics page for details).
He has been being weaned to the bottle for 2 days (since 1-14-02), and should be complete sometime next week =o(
All I need to add, is he's a wonderful little boy, who's growing fast, super sweet, and is very smart. He loves to "dance" say "plah" (like blah), blow raspberries, over and over, and thinks his sister is the funniest person in the world!
