My Big Boy turned one year old on Saturday, August 3rd 2002!
he had his 1 year pediatrician appointment on Thursday. Doc said he is doing great! 23 pounds 3 ounces, puts him in the 80th percentile, and 31.5 inches tall puts him in the 95th percentile for height!.
He is such a good boy!
He is starting to say more words. He has been saying Mama, Dada, and Baba for awhile. Last week he started pointing at things, and saying "no no no no no no no". Its sooo cute! Today (Aug 6th, 2001), he started waving and saying "Hi". He still has the 6 teeth he had 2 months ago, I guess they're in no rush to come in anymore.

Please excuse the rushed wording. I am trying to create this page within the few free minutes I have, so this isnt going to be that fancy. Sorry I haven't updated in quite awhile. Ethan is getting so active, I dont have that much time to devote to web page building anymore.

Ashley, my Princess, spent an exciting 3 weeks with Grandma and Grandpa Buren last month. They went to Coos Bay (Oregon), San Francisco (California), Laughlin (Nevada), and finally to Green Valley Arizona, where they live. Ashley had so much fun, and we miss her incredibly! 4 short days after she got home she left to summer camp! She went to Camp Rosenbaum, in Seaside, for 5 days. Spent alot of time doing crafts, riding horses, swimming, camping, and just doing kid things. Her "tribe" was called the Mojo tribe, and she shared a cabin with 9 other girls her age. She will be beginning 4th grade in a couple weeks. Hard to believe she has grown so fast. *sniff*

August 14th, 2002

Just thought I would add a couple updates.

Ethan cut another tooth yesterday! Now he has 7 of them! He is also saying more words. "Bye Bye", & "num num" (means food). Daddy was drinking a milkshake. Ethan tried to grab it, and said MINE tonight! Wonder if he will continue to use it? He also took 4 steps alone this week! It's the most he has taken at once.  Last, but not least, he started clapping last Sunday. He is so proud of himself!

Such a big boy! I'll try to update within a month or so. But no gaurantees!  =o)
