Yipee!! I had my 4th month Doctors appointment today at 3:10 pm. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It's range was 134 - 148 beats a minute, which Doctor said was great! I also didn't gain any weight, as a matter of fact I lost 1 pound! Dr. K said it was ok this time because of my nausea, but she better not see the same thing next time! My "morning sickness" has calmed down alot in the past month, THANK GOODNESS! Dr. K said baby seemed very healthy and energetic (she had to chase it with the fetal doppler!). Glucose test was normal, as was all the agonizing tests from my last visit. The only bad thing is I'm having a problem with the Sciatic nerve on my left side when I lie down again (as I did with Ashley 8 years ago). Dr. K said that although it's common, it is pretty much untreatable. =( "Tylenol and heat packs to ease pain". I just hope it doesn't start hurting as bad as the last time around.
On a happier note, I'm having another ultrasound done on March 23rd! So they can try to figure out the sex! (Doctor wants a lil peek at baby too).
Oh! I almost forgot, Baby is becoming quite the boxer. I've been feeling him for about 3 weeks now. He started as an occasional flutter, now he's (or she's) a very tough little guy (or girl)! =) |
