Ok, so after writing a long-ass bio I figured I should just have a FAQs page. This will be the easy place to find out Kurt info.
Birthday, Place?? Friday July 13, 1979; Columbia, Mo.
Where'd you grow up? Gainesville, Fl. I lived there from age 6-23.
When did you start dancing? January of my 18th year. It was a modern class at Santa Fe community College.
Why did you start dancing? Because I was heavily into musical theatre and I decided to take a dance class for "resume padding." Fine mess it's gotten me into....
Why did you wrestle? I started wrestling because my dad wrestled for a year or two in HS and he thought I might like it. Little did I know it would become and addiction, something I still miss.
When did you move to NYC?I moved to Jersey City, NJ in September of '02 to be in the Jose Limon Dance Institute's Professional Studies Program.
Where do you live now? I live in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Crazily close to Bushwick. Gotta love the L train.
Do you live with anybody? Yes I live with my "Evil Twin" Mark. We credit each other for getting ourselves into trouble. He also makes sure that "Evil Kurt" doesn't come out too often. Peter and Egon, that's us.
I hear you make the best macaroni and cheese ever. What's your secret?? Well, in addition to "love" my secret is crushed cayenne pepper and whatever extra cheese you got lying around the house. BAM!
Any weird jobs?? Okay, here are the type of things I've done for money: Radio Station- 5 years. Sheraton Hotel; banquet service/set up- 2 months. Kelly Services Temp Agency- 2 weeks food service, 4 months office stuff. Mobile Disc Jockey- 2 years. Gator Moving and Storage- 4 months. Guest Artist for a dance show. Toys R Us Sales Associate- 1 year and counting. Member of Fly-by-Night Dance Theater. Teaching Assistant in NY Public Schools. Various "favors".
How tall are you? I'm 5'5. I know, I make a big deal out of being short, and that's not too short. I'm just shorter than average.
