Chapter 2, Verses 13-17 Chapter 2, Verses 13-17
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

The passover is the time of atonement in which the mind is changed from the bondage of the world to freedom and peace in the Christ spirit within. During the time of atonement, or the undoing of all your minds errors of thought, the Holy Spirit drives out of your mind all the things that are unloving and that do offend your new being as a spiritual being of light and Christ. The Holy Spirit cleans out all the temple. He overthrows all the tables and drives all out of the temple so that God's house will not contain any of the stain of impurity and imperfection.

All thoughts of imperfection and worldly attachment must be driven away. The being of God's child must be eaten up with the words of the Christ spirit within him. He must desire God first above all things, and all the memory of all the thoughts and things of the world of illusion will pass away. Man will become a new creation in Christ spirit. He will be reborn of the Christ spirit of love, and all the thoughts and being of the self of ego and the world will have passed away.

Rejoice, O Holy One! Clean up the inside of the cup of ego and all its thoughts, and transcend from the temple of impurity and imperfection to the temple of perfection, peace, and spirit forever. Amen.

Chapter 2, Verses 18-22 Chapter 2, Verses 18-22
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Destruction of the body temple, the true temply of God within man, means nothing. For man is not his body temple. Man is the spirit of God that indwells the body. He is the son of his loving Father and King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Man is the self of spirit within the body temple. The self and body of spirit cannot ever be destroyed. This self is God-created and eternal.

This self of spirit is love and wholeness. Nothing of the world of dreams and illusions can ever touch it. Man must transcend the thought that he is a body of flesh and remember his identity as a body of spirit. He must remember that he is only playing a role in the body of flesh, and that no one or nothing can ever destroy him, even if they they destroy his body. To be in the body is to imprison the spirit from the freedom of life. To release oneself from the body of flesh is to bring oneself back to the freedom of life in the Christ spirit within. You are the you that is indestructible, not the you that is a destructible body. You are spirit and formless, not ego and flesh.

Listen always to the thoughts that go through your mind. Know that all unloving thoughts have no life, and hence, they are of ego mind and the body of destruction. Thoughts of love and perfection are of the mind of spirit, the God mind within you, and they are the life and the sustenance of the life and light within you. Listen only to the spirit thoughts of the Christ life and light within you for yourself and all your brothers. Give no power to any others of ego origin. Give all ego-orginated thoughts to the Holy Spirit, and know that your mind cannot hold or think these thoughts, as your mind is only spirit, perfection, and peace, and is connected in oneness with your Father of light and love and all creation in love forever. Amen.

Chapter 2, Verses 23-25 Chapter 2, Verses 23-25
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Within man is the holy self and child of God, though few as yet have awakened to this truth of God. So man yet lives by the selfish preservation, or ego, and reaps as he sows. He feels threat, and condemns and judges where he knows not what is going on.

To testify of man, or for man to testify of man, is nothing. Man may love man one minute and feel threat to his separate ego self the next. Love then hate the next minute. Man's praise means nothing, as it is gone as the wind as the storm of ego brings on the hurricanes of life. Seek not man's praise, which is here today and gone tomorrow in a storm cloud of anger and condemnation. Seek, rather, only the praise and trust of God. God will not forsake you or turn against you. He knows your heart, and He will understand and help you out of all the ego pits and its problems in your life. God is the only one who can help and understand you true feelings. God has no ego and cannot be threated and attack in savage cruelty as the world. Leave all in God's hands, and commit yourself not to the ego personality of man in man.

Commit yourself to always see the Christ personality in man no matter how lost in dreams and illusions your brothers [are]. Remember all are only playing ego games and roles. None are the ego roles they play. So see all as God sees, and know that God is leading all home to their true self and its memory and holiness and love forever. Amen.

In spirit you can commit your love to your brothers, but at the ego level, you must never commit your ego self to any. Within all is the spirit level and Christ, but also within all is the ego-using self that cares only about itself.

You are not required to sacrifice. Within you is no guilt. Do as you must do and feel is right in your life, and leave your brothers to their inner teacher within them. Play no ego games, and you will not be hurt. Rise in spirit and freedom, and leave the world of guilt and all its thoughts and confusions behind forever. Amen.
