Oi Minna-san. Guess what? I now own But don’t go there yet, because you’ll get this note about how much I hate Yahoo! Geocities. u.u;

Disclaimer- I don’t own Inuyasha and Company. Kitty Studios and Takahashi-Sama does. Stop sending me fan mail. I can’t read Japanese... ;.;

Summary- Kagome and Inuyasha were 5 and 6 years old when Inuyasha had to move away. They made a promise that they would never forget each other, and that someday they would meet again. But, 12 years later, When both attend the same college, will their memory fail them?

Genre- Humor, Romance, and other things that I’m too lazy to put down. Yes, this is an AU fiction. No whining now.

Additional notes: I saw the second Movie. I’ve also seen the whole series of fruits basket. Great Series. The movie was good too- though, it looks like Kagome’s kissing Inuyasha’s teeth at first. And in fruits basket, I love Kyou. I Hate Tohru. Freakish Mary -sue -ish thing. I saw all of Chobits, and love Hina too. Those were also great series, and I Highly reccomend them .

One more thing. A thanks goes out to Icecream0626 for reviewing every chapter. Arrigatou Gozaimasu

No matter what memory it is...

I want to keep it in my heart, as I live on believing...

Because I want to believe...There is no such memory that you can just forget...

So that some day, Some day I may become myself who wouldn't lose to such...

And then some day, I will even overcome it...

So it can be a precious memory...

I believe it...

“She still doesn’t know.” A small figure at the end of the dormitory’s darkened corridor whispered. The figure beside the first shifted slightly, and crossed his arms.

“She’s not supposed to know at all.”

“She found the book....” The former whispered, ignoring the latter. The latter growled slightly, sending an icy glare towards his companion.

“Feh. Thanks to you. You just had to write a book based on a past that should be forgotten, didn’t you?”

“Actually, I did. She has to know these things, Atashi no Baka.”

“She’d be perfectly happy not knowing anything. But, Iie, you had to ruin her happiness, didn’t you?”

“Her happiness isn’t ruined, idiot. She looks interested in the book.” The smaller of the two sighed, and looked thoughtfully towards the ceiling. But a growl informed him that this argument was not yet over.

“Of course she’s Interested! Anyone who saw their name in a book about demons from the past, would be interested! Bakame! All she needed to see were the words ‘Kagome was a girl who jumped in a well and met a dog eared guy named Inuyasha’ and she was hooked!”

“Che, for an idiot, you sure do think into things way to much. I said she’d be fine. I think I’d know my own Adopted mother.”

“She isn’t your adopted Mother anymore Smart ass! The mother you know doesn’t even exist in this time period!”

“.....”

The two were quiet for a while, as the smaller one thought about this for a moment. Of course, his ignorant, loud-mouthed was right. But it hurt to hear those words. The Kagome they both knew had gone...but... maybe there was hope for this one...

“Your such a bastard-dog.”

“Che, Shut up you little Kitsune-brat.”

“As you all know, class, your reports on a Hanyou from the past are due today.” The teacher announced, pacing the front of the room. A collective groan grew, as you could hear the sound soft lifted backpacks and papers being shuffled.

“I expect every single one of you to have their work done.” She added, circling around the room, and placing herself down into the chair behind her desk.

Kagome eyed her report apprehensively. ... ‘Please don’t make us read it....Please don’t make us read it aloud....’

“Pass them up to the front, and I will collect them.” she continued, eyeing each one of them speculatively. Kagome sighed relief, and passed hers up.

Now....now that that was over....Kagome had some things to think about..

The girl pulled up her legs as much as she could towards the desk, and wrinkled her brow. She knew that Inuyasha was from her past. Demo.... Inuyasha himself didn’t know it... This caused some...minor complications. Would he believe her if she told him?... She didn’t know. And...what if it turned out she had been wrong about the whole thing..?

No....No, she knew that deep down in her heart, she was right. What her heart wasn’t telling her, was what to do next....

“Alright. Class dismissed.” The teacher announced, ushering them all towards the door.

Kagome smiled at Sango, and they both walked out together, discussing on whether they wanted to be partners for their next assignment.

After everyone had exited the room, The teacher sat down at her desk, and waited. Her red eyes glinted impatiently, and she began to tap her foot against the black carpeted floor.

After a few more minutes, a creaking was heard, signaling that the door had been opened. The teacher looked up, and smiled. Two men stood, holding a young woman between them.

The first man had midnight colored hair, that shined dark blue when hit by the light. It had been fashioned in a long tight braid, trailing down his back. His eyes were a cyan color, and narrowed ever so slightly upon entrance.

The second man had short, shoulder length hair, that was a dark chocolate in color. His eyes flashed a forest green, and there was an emotionless look about his features.

He was gripping the woman roughly by her fore arm, and the woman was glaring at him with her mightiest intent, her dark amber hues in slits, and her ebony hair strewn messily around her.

The teacher chuckled, cusing all of them to narrow their eyes more so, as she stood up and approached them.

“It’s been a while, ne? Don’t tell me that sick bastard still thinks he can kill Inuyasha. He’s been dead for 500 years now.” She informed, taking off her glasses, and sliding them into a pocket.

“Tell us something we don’t know, wench. That Inuyasha is dead, your right. But...there’s been some strange happenings taking place within the last 18 years.” The midnight blue eyed one responded curtly. The teacher raised an eyebrow.

“Such as...?”

“Well, for one thing. Does this bitch look familiar to you?” He asked, shoving the woman he had been holding by the hair roughly towards the Teacher.

The teacher flinched, and Caught the girl instantly, glaring at the man intensely.

“What do you think your-!”

“Look.” He demanded. The teacher spat at him, and lifted the slightly shaking girls’ face up. Shock filled her features for a moment, before she hardened her gaze.

“Who are you girl?” She asked icily. The girl took a shuddering breath, before looking up at her.

“I’m.....I’m Kikyou.” The girl said softly. The teacher again visibly flinched, before dropping the girl onto the ground, as a small yelp came from her on impact.

“It’s her.”

“We already know that.”

A small silence protruded the room, as the teacher sighed.

“And here I thought our work was over.” She chuckled.

“Che. As long as we’re alive, our work is never over. You should know that.”

“I do. but it’s nice to dream, isn’t it Bankotsu?”

The man now known to be Bankotsu rolled his eyes, and looked towards her carelessly.

“I don’t dream bitch. The dead already live in a dream like world, so it’s almost impossible.” He said smoothly. His companion lowered his eyes, as if about to respond to that, but after a moment, he decided against it.

“So what does he need of me?” The teacher asked, a bitter anger swelling up in her chest. But this time, Bankotsu wasn’t the one to answer.

“He needs his cunning little wind user back.” Bankotsu’s companion answered, turning heel and walking out the door. Bankotsu raised an eyebrow, and followed after him, pausing to look back at her momentarily.

“You’d better listen to him this time Kagura.” he then left the room, a faint call of “Suikotsu! Matte Yo!” having been heard, as the echoing footsteps dispersed.

Kagura twitched, and snapped the fake glasses in two, about to rush out of the room, but a voice stopped her.

“Why....Why am I needed?” Kikyou asked from the floor, an emotionless look set about her. Kagura stopped mid-step, and looked back almost pityingly.

“You... Your the one who has caused this all.” She replied, and left the room., leaving the girl to ponder carefully about what that meant.

Around midnight that night, the same two figures who had been there a dusk ago, appeared once more. The first to appear was a young man, plaid in a red Haori and slacks, a sword at his side, and small little doggy ears adorning his head, where there were also his scattered silver locks. He looked irritated, to say he least, as his small companion appeared next to him.

The vertically challenged persona was clad in a boyins little Kimono, his chocolate hair pulled up in a short pony tail, and his green eyes glazing in question. His pointed ears protruded from the sides of his head, as his puffy little tawny tail swept in impatience.

“You haven’t answered my question yet.” The smaller informed. The dog eared one snorted, and crossed his arms.

“I don’t have to brat.”

“Why did you stay behind?”

“Don’t ask questions like that.”

“Did you do it because of Kagome?”

Another short silence came between them, as he dropped his hands to his side, and looked down in guilt.

“Yes.”

“Doushite?”

“Because.... I knew something like this would happen.”

“Something like...?”

“Figure it out Shippou. And if you can’t, you’ll soon see.”

“We can’t stay here for much longer Inuyasha.”

“I know that.”

“It’ll happen before then?”

“If it happens, then it does. We can’t change anything. Let’s just hope you put some common sense kind of stuff into that book.”

“Didn’t you say it was a bad idea to write that book?”

“...I had second thoughts.”

“Why?”

“Because...If Kagome’s anything like she was back then, then she’ll need all the help she can get.” He grumbled, turning heel, and walking away, where he soon disappeared. Shippou sighed, and shook his head, looking towards the room that they had been standing in front of.

“Another Inuyasha..... His human counterpart, now living in present day Tokyo....” The young Kitsune sighed, and started bounding after his friend.

“And I thought one Inuyasha was enough. Poor Kagome...”

This chapter was a bit longer than usual, but not too long, because I like...have no time anymore, lol.

Well, anyways, I want a lot of reviews! Or...I’ll put off updating for a month and a half! lol.

Peace & Pawprints!
