Summary- Kagome and Inuyasha were 5 and 6 years old when Inuyasha had to move away. They made a promise that they would never forget each other, and that someday they would meet again. But, 12 years later, When both attend the same college, will their memory fail them?

Genre- Humor, Romance, and other things that I’m to lazy to put down. Yes, this is an AU fiction. No whining now.

Additional notes: I’ve made it to one hundred reviews! ARRIGATOU! Anyways, I’m happy. I have Tokyo Mew-Mew #2, and Mega Tokyo Volume one in graphic novel format. Happy, Happy... Oh yes, none of you were happy about Kikyou’s debut. Gee, I wonder why... ::sarcastic::

Kagome didn’t know what to do. What was Inuyasha doing? What was he talking about? This situation..... It seem so familiar to Kagome.... The way he looked just now.... So familiar....

Kikyou looked up the guy, a mask of happiness on her face to hide the confusion. What the heck was he talking about? Kikyou was trying to think of something fast. This guy was cute, and the girl over there was obviously ‘infatuated’ with him. Kikyou sent a brief dark look towards her. She wasn’t about to give up something that had so willingly walked right into her arms.

But, how was Kikyou going to pull it off? She thought back to the last Manga that she had read. How did it go? Girl moves away after making a promise with her best guy friend -when they were six- to meet again when they were older. Guy never really finds the girl so far yet.... Kikyou grumbled mentally. Obviously, this was the other way around. Guy moved away from girl, and met up again with him, but neither of them know who the other really is.

Kikyou smirked. This could be fun...

“I-Inuyasha....” Kagome whispered, in hurt and confusion. Kikyou smiled. So his name was Inuyasha?

Inuyasha turned to look at Kagome briefly, as if he had just seen her for the first time.

“K-Kagome....”

~A pause of silence~

“Inuyasha! I missed you so much!” Kikyou cried, launching herself into his chest. Inuyasha’s happiness grew a tenfold.

“It... It really is you....” he murmured, small tears forming at his eyes, threatening to fall. Kikyou saw them, and wiped them away.

“After you moved.... I was so sad...” Kikyou murmured, hoping to dear Kami she was saying the right thing.

Kagome jerked backwards, memories hitting her like the plague.

Kagome stumbled backwards, holding her head.

‘Not now.... I don’t want these memories now...’ She thought, tears willing their way towards her eyes.

“N-no....” She whimpered, standing up and looking at Inuyasha. he was looking at Kikyou.... This couldn’t be......

“Let's make a promise...One day, when we meet each other again, We’ll stick with each other forever! Pinky Square!”

It couldn’t be..... it was too much of a coincidence.... The odds of that happening..... the memory plagued Kagome again. But, something was missing....

“You’d better remember ...”

Inuyasha turned his head to look from Kikyou to Kagome. It took him a moment to realize..... but Kagome looked almost exactly like Kikyou.... except for her eyes.... her hair was wavier.... her skin had more color..... but mostly the eyes...

Kagome’s eyes were lively, creative and full of energy....

Kikyou’s....were solemn. No matter how happy she looked... Sad, solemn and serious...

Kagome stared at the pavement.

If what she was thinking was true....

Kagome realized it. She sent a look towards Inuyasha and Kikyou, tears now streaming down her cheeks. Inuyasha blinked.

“K-Kagome?” He stuttered, about to approach her, but Kagome cut him off.

“I.... I hope you guys have a wonderful relationship....” Kagome said, her voice cracking, as she turned heel and ran back towards the dorm.

Inuyasha looked after her, and was about to run also, but Kikyou latched herself onto his arm.

“Inuyasha Koi! Did you not hear what she said? She blessed us! What a nice friend you have.... Now, let’s go spend some time together!” Kikyou suggested quickly.

Inuyasha seemed to snap out of a trance.... He looked at Kikyou and smiled.

“....yeah.... let’s go.” He murmured, walking off with her, without looking back

Kagome ran up the stairs towards her dorm, tears streaming down her face unstoppably. She raced down the hallway, flinging out her keys, and squeezing her eyes shut.

‘Why?!’ she thought angrily, but that’s when she hit something soft and warm.

“Kagome-chan!? Daijobu Ka?” A voice asked in worry. Kagome looked up, tears still coming.

“Kouga-kun?” She asked in a small voice. The latter was searching her face. as if trying to decipher what was going on. And then it hit him. What else could’ve happened?

“Inukoro.” He stated more than asked. Kagome’s mouth opened slightly to protest... but she couldn’t.

“K- Kouga-Kun!” She cried, burying her face in his shirt and sobbing with all her heart. Kouga frowned, glaring down the hallway. What had the idiot dog done to Kagome?!

“Oi, Kagome-chan..." He said softly, lifting her into his arms. Kagome cried on, hands clutching his shirt and head in his chest.

“Kagome-chan.... Come on.... You can come lay down...” he murmured, wiping away a part of her bangs from her eyes. Kagome hiccupped.

“A-Arrigatou Kouga-kun...” She mumbled, her tears coming slower now.

Kouga smiled, and started walking back to his room, Kagome falling asleep in his arms on the way.
