Inuyasha was beating down nostalgia.
Her eyes of gray dawn, her raven shone locks.. of course, this vocabulary was not of his own- he’d been thinking of ways to describe her heavenly looks for the past four hours, and had gone to Miroku to seek of the perfect use of words.
Because he wanted to tell her, but he couldn’t. There was an obstacle in the way- or rather, she wasn’t really an obstacle.. she was just, eh.
She was Kikyou. And in being Kikyou, she was in the way. Not necessarily her fault.. or was it? The boy groaned, slumping forward onto his desk, his forehead coming down to rest against the bare and blank papers that laid there.
Ad why was he even thinking about how to describe a girl whom he hated? Resented? Whom he lied to himself about? No, he wasn’t. He did despise her. Kikyou told her what she’d done, and you just couldn’t forgive a treacherous, un-loyal, un friendly act such as what Kagome had done.
Keh. His violet eyes flickered in uncertainty, before he closed him. For some reason he was having a horrible craving for chocolate.

Kagome sneezed. Sango tossed a sideways glance to her. But Kagome reassured her that she was fine, and she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small piece of chocolate toffee with a happy giggle. Sango whimpered.
The duo was sitting on a cold stone bench in the middle of a park, their feet idly kicking back and forth on the plush grass. Sango’s gaze was at the sky, and Kagome’s was on her chocolaty morsel. It was quiet for a moment, before Sango groaned, dropping her forehead onto her knees. Repetitively.
“Sango-chan? What’s wrong?” Kagome said it more out of reflex than she was actually paying attention. She’d already named her toffee, and was halfway through narrating it’s life to be distracted by Sango’s odd outbursts.
“I have ‘A whole new world’ stuck in my head’.” She moaned. Kagome gave her a small nod, not really taking in what she was saying. Sango turned her head so that her cheek now rest against her knees, narrowing her eyes at Kagome. Kagome just eyed her chocolate.
“Kagome-chan..?”
“Herman. His ame is Herman.” Kagome nodded more to herself, before returning Sango’s glance.
“What did you need, Sango-chan?” Sango just shook her head with a groan. Kagome shrugged, and began nibbling her toffee.
“So, Kagome-chan.. What do you think of Kouga-kun?” She chided, a mischevious glance in her eyes. Kagome paused for a moment, cheeks pinkening lightly, before the color faded. Her gaze was no longer set on her treat, but on the fading colors of the sun reflected on the clouds.
“He’s.. Sweet. Kouga is sweet.” She nodded a bit, as if this were her final answer. Sango grinned.
“Sweet like what?” She was bent on deriving some sort of pleasing answer. Kagome turned to her with a nibble on her bottom lip, before grinning in turn.
“Like chocolate.”

He decided she was his as easily as he decided what drink he wanted. Now holding a bottle of champagne, the lone, wolfish figure would sit perched upon the railing of his porch, leg dangling swiftly off of it, whilst one was propped up to his chest. He was leaning back against the rough texture of the wall, arm that held the bottle wrapped around his drawn up leg as he studied the ground below. He was a good 11 stories up, and most of his neighbors had come to think of him as a sort of a rebel in his teenage years. Kouga figured they were probably right.
He realized she was his addiction as swiftly as he realized that the bottle had emptied itself of it’s alcoholic contents. Cerulean hues played idly across the label of the bottle, as he swung it in small circles within his grip, not quite ready to get for a new one. He’d read each and every ingredient before he was sure he’d prolonged getting up for quite a good time. Was alcohol addicting as well? He needn’t feel the tug of desire pull him towards the drink as it did to her.
He concluded that he’d have to wait. For her, alcohol, and possibly sleep. He couldn’t force her, no matter what his instincts told him he should and could very well do. She was fragile, breakable, softhearted, and well guarded. He couldn’t rush in, even though he knew she probably wouldn’t have any protests after he’d manipulated her enough.
He wasn’t in love with her. He couldn’t let himself be in love with her. Love was weakness. And, if he wasn’t careful with what he was doing, he could very easily be fawning of the girl, as she fawned over chocolate. He smirked at that, lifting himself from the cold metal of the rail, and striding back inside.
Come to think of it, she was like chocolate. Enticing, silky, could melt in your hands..
Or.. Your mouth...
He chuckled, shutting the glass door behind him, as he slipped into his flat.

Was kind of out of it, and didn’t feel like writing. Sorry for this lame chapter xD.
