Chapter One

“What about this dimension...Hmm...It seems decent enough...Ok! This on it is!” Rei decided. She was hovering on her tipsy-toes, turning knobs and pulling switches, now and again kicking at the machine/portal that stood in front of her as if scolding a child.

“Why don’t you stay in one place for once milady? Is it necessary to keep jumping to other galaxies every 6 months?” her furry fox companion asked her.

“Must you always questions my decisions Claidi? What if I did that to you always, hmm? Like right now. Why must you stay in that fox form all the time little kitsune? Why can’t you stay in your regular kitsune form all the time?” Rei scratched the fox’s head.

“I don’t rather like that form.” She stated plainly, swatting rei’s hand away with her tail.

“Don’t fuss. Now you see, I don’t like staying in one place that much. Does that answer your question?”

“Hn.”

“I win claidi.” She laughed.

Now I think it’s time I introduced the main character of my story to you. rei is 14½, she lives in California and her best friend is a talking fox named claidi. She owns a machine that can take her to every and any dimension imaginable, but is constantly being scolded for acting 3 years of age. She lives in a huge house by herself on account of both her parents died and her older brother lives in florida. She is argumentitive, skips school to skip dimensions and has a very intelligent mind. She is 5’4, has wavy brown hair that reaches her waist and is as dark as chocalate and reaches her waist, with icy blue eyes to balance her looks. Today she was wearing a strapless crystal-blue blouse with baggy black jeans. This is her story.

“Don’t you have school today?” Claidi asked suspiciously.

“No, not for me.” Rei lied

“Which dimension are we going to?” The fem fox asked, curling herself around rei’s legs.

“I’m not exactly sure. It’s clarified as the IY realm. Personnally, though, I wouldn’t care id it was planted right smack in the middle of hell, as long as it get’s me away from here.” She explained.

“oh well. I can’t stop you. Wake me when we get there.” Claidi yawned.

“Can do.” She touched a button on the screen to relay a set of guises that the people in that realm looked like. She picked black furry wolfy ears, claws and other attributes that the machine gave her. She waited silently as the machine sent a blast of light hurtling at her and instantly things got a whole hell of a lot more accute.

“Oh my god! damn everything is so loud! and I can smell alot of things! and I can sense people. COOL! I’m like an overgrown puppy! and I have puppy ears too! wait ‘till claidi see’s me!” and with that rei chuckled, picking up her cuddly comrade and jumped into the portal.
