BOTAN’S POV

“Everything has to be perfect!” I squealed

“Calm down Botan, Everything is going to be alright! but there is one thing that we need figured out.” Keiko acknowledged.

“What is it?” Yukina and I asked.

“Well, I wrote a song for the party, But no one can sing it yet! Do you guys want to sing it?” she asked hopefully.

“I can’t sing!” I protested, backing away.

“What is singing?” Yukina asked thoughtfully. We all sweat dropped.

“How about that girl that Kurama’s bringing over? Celeste I think it was? Do you think she'd do it?” Asked a Keiko.

“Well she and Kurama are coming over now.. Why don’t you ask her?” I suggested.

“This’ll be great!” Exclaimed a jubilant Keiko.

Celeste’s POV

Kurama had said that we were going over to Genkai’s house for a party. It sounded fun.

When we arrived, I was automatically thrust into a corner. Surrounding me was Keiko, Yukina and Botan. Keiko wasted no time in getting to the point.

“Celeste? Will you sing a few Christmas songs tonight? Please please please?”

“Erm... I don’t see any harm-” I stuttered, but was soon cut off.

“WE’RE SAVED!” Keiko and Botan applauded. All the guys stared. i stared. But they didn’t seem to care. They had pulled Yukina into dance with them and were chanting merrily.

“What kind of songs are we talking about?” I asked hesitantly.

“Rudolph, Jingle bells, Silent night, and a song I made up.” keiko said cheerfully.

“Um...ok...”

“Oh, and You have to wear the costume!” Yukina added in.

I gulped.

“Costume?” I repeated.

“yeah! let’s go put it on her!” laughed Botan. They then dragged me into a separate room and went to work.

Kurama’s POV

I was looking around to see where Celeste went, when I heard someone talking.

“C’mon Celeste!” Pleaded Botan.

no answer.

“You look so pretty though!”

“Go away.”

“But don’t you want to sing?”

“I look RIDICULOUS!”

I took place in the conversation.

“Look Celeste, I don’t know what your wearing, but id you don’t come out and get this over with, you’ll have to stay in that for the rest of the night.” i tried to persuade.

“Fine. but don’t say I never did anything for you!”

Celeste came out wearing a strapless Santa dress, Santa hat, red high heels, red lipstick, blush, and light red eye shadow.

Naturally, I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

But she didn’t notice as she was preoccupied with scowling at the wall. The three girls pushed her into the middle of the room, and Botan whispered something into her ear. celeste had an amused smile on her face as she started to sing.

“Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose...”

3 minutes later.

“Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, you’ll go down in history!”

Everyone clapped politely- except for Hiei, who thought this whole ordeal stupid. And so it went. The songs jingle bells, and silent night were finished in about 5 minutes. but then it went to Keiko’s song, which Celeste had been forced to memorize within a short time period. Everyone wasquiet as she started to sing, and Keiko crossed her fingers.

“I’ll always remember,

it was late afternoon.

it lasted forever

and ended so soon

you were all by yourself, staring up at a dark ridged sky

I was changed.

In places no one will find, all your feeling s so deep inside.

was then that I realized that forever was in your eyes

the moment I saw you cry”

Keiko was laughing happily, glad that her song had turned out so good.

“Was late in December

and I’d seen you before

you were always the coolest one

but I was never that sure

you were all by yourself, staring up at a dark ridged sky

I was changed.”

Kurama smiled as she sang the Chorus. she looked very happy doing so.

“And I wanted to hold you

I wanted to make it go away

I wanted to know you

I wanted to make your everything

alright...”

She stopped briefly and smiled at keiko before continuing with the ending.

“The moment I saw you...cry...”

She stopped and everyone clapped, even Hiei...ok he didn’t, but it would’ve been nice if he had. Keiko went up and hugged her. Soon after, Yukina and Botan did also.

When they released her, she had a troubled look on her face.

“What’s wrong? Get choked up by the song?” Yusuke teased.

“No... that’s not it.” She frowned.

“Then what’s wrong?” I asked. She frowned again.

“This suit gave me a rash.” She answered.

We all fell over. She frowned again.

“No wonder the fat guy only does this once a year, imagine having to wear this suit every day...” She said, starting to walk off.

Everyone fell over, again...

She then stopped walking and turned around.

“Hiei? is it true that you were once a Christmas elf?”

Everyone...again...fell over, with the exception iof Hiei, who had his Katana withdrawn and was ready to kill/

Kurama stood up and declared that he had better take her home. Deep in his mind during the car ride, he was thinking if he should teach his Celeste proper etiquette.

Wolfy- Hiei? an elf?! THAT’S FRESH!

Hiei-:has his sword to her neck in seconds* I AM NO ELF! HEAR ME WOLFY?!

Celeste- Botan told me you were an elf!

Hiei & Wolfy- WHAT?! BOTAN!

Botan-*backs away* Um...heheheh... UNTIL THE NEXT FANFIC! *turns and runs*
