"YOU IDIOT!! YOU'LL KILL US!" Kadaj smacked Cloud in the back with his fist as hard as he could.
"It won't... Jenova won't allow it." Cloud wrapped his arms tighter around Kadaj. He heard a frustrated scream as the two hit the ground.
"KADAJ!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yazuu ran over to the two. Cloud stood up, unharmed, only to get deck by a sobbing Yazuu. "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!"
"Look he's ok!! Geeze! That punch hurt!" Cloud rubbed his face.
"It was SUPPOSED TO!" Yazuu snapped.
"My head hurts...." Kadaj stood up wobbly.
"KADAJ!!!" Yazuu wrapped his arms around him.
"Ow... Yazuu let go." Kadaj pushed Yazuu away and turned to Cloud with a glare. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Kadaj give me Jenova's head." Cloud extended his hand to the young boy. Kadaj hugged the steal box that didn't recieve any damage luckily.
"No! Mother is mine now!" Kadaj broke into a run away from the two.
"Kadaj stop!!" Cloud started to run after him but was stopped and choked when Yazuu grabbed the belts that crossed on his back.
"Leave him alone." Yazuu's voice dripped his anger. He was going to finish this right now.
"You idiot!! If Kadaj opens that box he will die!" Cloud struggled to pull away from Yazuu.
"Whatever." Yazuu put his gun to Cloud's head. Cloud stopped struggling.
"Look I don't have time for this.... Jenova will use Kadaj's body to revive Sephiros. If that happens Kadaj will die, and if Sephiros finds you and Loz you two will also die! Don't you get it?! You three have been lead wrong! Jenova was just using you to recreate Sephiros!!" Cloud felt the grip on his belts loosen. He heard someone running towards him. He turned to see Loz.
"You!!" Loz lifted his arm to swing at Cloud. As it desended towards Cloud, a sliver flash of metal stopped Loz's arm. "Yazuu?!"
"Cloud.... is trying to protect us...." Yazuu hid his face from Loz. Sadness.... it was there. Tears.... they were there too.
"Why would he want to protect us?! He's lying to you!" Loz tried to push Yazuu away but he held his ground.
"Loz.... I know this may be hard... but Kadaj is in danger... We have to get him away from Jenova." Cloud spoke softly. He was doing everything he could to get Loz to listen.
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!" Loz yelled. "You got to have a mother!! We didn't!! Finally now we can!! And YOU want to take that away?!"
"I never....really had a mother...." Cloud whispered. "She was never there when I needed her.... She didn't even acknowlage me until I joined ShinRa.... and then she died a few days later.... I know what it's like to be without a mother...." Cloud looked directly into Loz's eyes. "Jenova is not your mother... She's making you think that. She is going to kill Kadaj and then you."
Loz backed away from Yazuu enough to have personal space.
"You're not lying are..you..." Loz shook his head. "What do we need to do....?"
"Get Jenova's head from Kadaj." Cloud walked up to him.
"Clodu I'll stay here." Yazuu pointed in the direction of Cloud's friends. "We need to take care of the Shadowcrawlers and Bahamut." He turned to Loz. "Stop Kadaj and kill Jenova."
"Will do." Loz nodded. With that the three broke. A new bond between brothers was formed.

Kadaj skidded to a hault in Aerith's church. Finally...
"Mother!" Kadaj tore open the box. He smiled happily as he saw her for the first time.
[It is time.... my son shall awaken...] Kadaj dropped the box and grabbed his head in pain. Who... what was talking?
[Wake up! SEPHIROS!] Kadaj fell to the ground screaming.

Everyone was there now. Each fighting a Shadowcrawler. Yazuu told everyone their weakness. Soon they had all of them dispatched. All that was left was Bahamut.
However Cloud disappeared... again.
Yazuu had never been on an airship. He was surprised when they invited him to help find Cloud. He stared over the railing.
[I hope Loz and Kadaj are ok.....] He rested his head on his arms.
"You ok?" He turned at the voice.
"Denzel..." He looked away. "I'm sorry... for what we did to you...."
"It's alright." The young boy walked over to Yazuu's side. "I've never been on an airship.... It's scary..." Denzel looked down at the ground.
"Neither have I. I also find it quite scary." Yazuu couldn't help but smile. The boy reminded him of...

"Kadaj!!!" Loz yelled as loud as he could. He saw Kadaj disappear into the church. His bike was still there. Next to it though....
Was the empty box.
"DAMNIT!" Loz kicked it across the room.
"That's no way to treat mother's box...." Loz whirled around. Kadaj stood his head hung down his arm were hanging lip. In his hand was a sword.... Sephiros's sword.
"Sephiros!" Loz backed up. He was too late.
"Hmm...? Do you have anything better to say?" Kadaj...no.... Sephiros lifted his head. "This body is a little too young for me... but in time I will fully control it."
"How could you do this?! To your own brot-"
"Sacrifices are needed. My brother or not." Sephiros smirked. "You see Loz.... Mother didn't want to kill one of you so I could live...." He flicked his wrist so fast that Loz couldn't block the sword. It impaled him right in the stomach. Loz coughed up blood and stared at Sephiros with a look of why.
"You see Loz.... Mother wanted Cloud... You three are foolish... Therefor you three will die..." The sword cleanly sliced Loz into two.

Cloud looked up. Bahamut stared down.
"Damnit.... How'd I get myself in this mess..." Cloud gulped. How the hell was he going to attack?! The only way he could attack is if he was flying. He shoved his sword into the ground and sat down crosslegged.
"Damnit if only I had the force...." He pondered, scratching his chin. That's it...
Cloud stood up and grabbed his sword. He focused on his feet putting all his power there. He looked at Bahamut and pushed off the ground. Because of all the power at his feet launched him full force at the big dragon.
Bahamut in return dove towards him.
Cloud flew faster and faster towards it sword ready. Then Bahamut attacked with a giant fireball.
[Oh shit....] Cloud swung his sword in time to hit the fireball back at the giant beast. The fire ball hit the creature and Bahamut....
Exploded....?
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Cloud blinked in shock as he began to plumit. "He was summoned back...." Cloud hit the ground iwth a massive thud.
"CLOUD!!" He turned to see a group of people running towards him. Yazuu was first.
"Cloud, Loz hasn't come back yet!" Yazuu skidded to a stop and reached out to give Cloud a hand up.
"He hasn't? What would be--- Oh god..."
"God indeed...." The others got there in time to hear the words of the man they feared the most. Cloud whipped around. Kadaj smiled. "It's been a while..."
"Sephiros...." Cloud growled. "Yazuu run... everyone get out of here.
"But Cloud...." Yazuu reached for Cloud's shoulder. Just as he was about to touch him a dagger drove into his side.
"Yazuu!" Cloud shielded him from any other attack. "Sephiros stop this! Leave Kadaj alone!" Cloud yelled at Kadaj-er-Sephiros-er-Kajros-er WHATEVER Cloud didn't really care at the moment. His concern right now was saving Yazuu. Saving Kadaj woudl come later.... if he could save Kadaj...
"Cloud...." Yazuu pulled on Cloud's sleeve and buried his face in to Cloud's chest. "I'm sorry.... for...everything..." Cid ran over and grabbed Yazuu's arm.
"You ain't dying! Cloud you go fight tha--Hey.. Where'd he go?" Everyone looked around. Kadaj/Sephiros thing was gone.
"I don't...smell him near." Red sniffed the air. Barret reached down and scratched the big cat's ear.
"We still have to be alert right? I mean he's not gone..." Yuffie looked aroudn frantically.
"Cloud we'll take care of Yazuu." Vincent walked over and placed an arm on Cloud. Almost on instinct Cloud pulled Yazuu closer to him as if to protect him.
"Cloud... I'll be ok...." Yazuu whispered against Cloud's chest. "To think.... a couple of hours ago we hated each other.....now.... as the sun sets.... we're..."
"True brothers...."
"Save Kadaj....Onii-san"

Cloud was nervous driving down this road he's taked os so many times. He could feel Sephiros calling him.
[Yazuu.... I'll do everything I can.... please be alright...] Cloud couldn't shake the feeling he wasn't going to see him again.
No... he had to win. Not only Yazuu but Kadaj was counting on him too. And maybe even Loz....
Cloud had found Loz when he went to get his bike. He called Cid and asked if he could pick up the body for burial. Also not to let Yazuu see. The young man was already hurt, he didn't need the stress.
Cloud was almost too lost in thought to notice the blue ribbons of energy come flying at him. He sped up in time to dodge most of them but the rest sent him flying.
That's when he found his target. Cloud used his newly found talent of controlling Jenova cells and forced himself in Sephiros's way. He whipped out a sword right as he came down, but the young body was already prepared with his Soube.
Sephiros swung the Soube as hard as Kadaj's body let him. Hard enough to knock Cloud off his bike. After satisfied on the crash landing Sephiros walked forwarded to the downed Cloud.
"You're so foolish." Sephiros peered down at Cloud as he tried to get up. He positioned the Soube over Cloud's back but before he striked Cloud did a flip kick into his stomach. Sephiros groaned and grabbed ahold of the source of pain and flipped Cloud over his shoulder. Cloud's feet hit a metal sheet letting him bounce off sword fully ready to attack.
The fighting continued this way. Cloud would attack Sephiros would dodge, Sephiros attacked Cloud would dodge. They eventually found themselfs high up onto a fallen building.
Sephiros used his control over Kadaj's cells and sent himself in the air ready to attack Cloud. Cloud in turn, use his ability of launching himself. He launched himself so hard though that he knocked into Kadaj's body making him fly into a pile of debris. Cloud went spiralling down towards the ground but caught himself with his sword on the fallen building.
He felt a bit chilly.... He looked at his left arm. Sephiros must have ripped off his sleeve. Wait... Cloud no longer felt Kadaj's spirit. SHIT! Instead of saving him he killed him!
"KADAJ!!!" Cloud went running towards the end of the building where he sent the body flying.
An explosion... Cloud stopped as he watched everything in front of him fly into the sky. Then a glint.....
A sword.... Long silver hair....
"Sephiros!!!" Cloud gasped. No wonder he couldn't sense Kadaj anymore... Sephiros gained conplete control! That knock must have cause Kadaj's spirit to go dormant.
This was not the time to think!! The masamune grazed Cloud's cheek. Startled he fell over and the sword followed. Soon Sephiros was sitting onto of Cloud's stomach.
"Miss me?" Sephiros grinned. "I am no longer just a memory..."

Yazuu snuck out of his bed. He heard Cid saying something about Loz. He had to know what...
"The poor guy..." Cid spoke softly as he wrapped Loz's body in a cloth. "He died slowly..." Yazuu choked.
[....Loz...] Tears fell to the floor.
"Cloud said not to tell Yazuu but... don't you think we should? I mean Loz is Yazuu's little brother." Barret turned to Vincent. Vincent just shook his head.
"He knows... Come here Yazuu." Vincent turned to the door. Yazuu wiped his tears away after they had spotted him.
"I'm sorry I know I'm not supposed to be out of bed..." He sniffled, trying not to let more tears come. He couldn't hold back. He hobbled over to Vincent and started to cry in his arms. The other two looked at each other with sad eyes.
"Yazuu? What do you want us to do with him?" Cid asked softly trying not to stir the young man any more.
"Kadaj.... he can't....know..." Yazuu choked on a sob. He wiped away his tears again and turned his head, looking in the direction of Loz's head, the only spot uncovered.
He had a small smile on his face... Yazuu couldn't help but smile too.
"At least... I know he's happy..... Please bury him before Cloud gets back with Kadaj...."

Their swords clashed furiously. It was late, the sun was gone. Cloud was getting tired. he needed to end this.... Then he got an idea.
He stood absoultly still.
Sephiros grinned. Now was his chance. He ran Cloud through with the Masamune down to the hilt. 6 feet of stuck out Cloud's back.
But Cloud smiled. He pulled Sephiros to him.
"Thank you... Kadaj..."
"What are you doing?!" Sephiros tried to pull away but Cloud's grip was too tight.
"I'm sorry Kadaj.... Loz is dead.... Sephiros killed him... I tried everything to stop it..."
"It's a lie!" A child like voice squeeled from Sephiros's body. Cloud smiled. His plan was working. Kadaj was coming back
"STOP IT!" Sephiros screamed and struggled against Cloud. Cloud grunted as the sword wiggled somewhat inside him.
"Kadaj come back with me...Let's go back to Yazuu ok? He's worried...." Cloud stroked Sephiros's hair trying to soothe him. Sephiros manage to pull away yanking the sword out of Cloud.
Cloud fell to the ground on his hands and knees. Blood was seeping out of the wound but he ignored it.
"Kadaj...." Cloud held out his hand "Come with me..... Please? I just want to take care of you... like a good brother should....You'll alway be....my little...brot...her..." Cloud fell cold onto the build that he had once fought Sephiros on.
A clank was heard, a dropping of a Soube. Followed by the sound of leather hitting metal, and faintly.... droplets of water.
Kadaj was crying. Cloud... cared for him... No one but Yazuu and Loz had ever cared for him.
But Cloud.... risked his life to save him from Sephiros... and he had. Kadaj was back now. Sephiros was gone.
"Cloud...." Kadaj crawled over to the man who rested on the cold metal. "Cloud don't die!!"
Slowly.... a smile crept onto Cloud's face. He had saved Kadaj... and the world...
He was happy.
"CLOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
["No matter what Cloud, I'll always be your friend...."
"I want to meet the real you..."
"It's been a long time... hasn't it Cloud?"
"Glad you're spiky ass is back on the team."
"Just sign here and your materia is mine!"
"Don't go getting your fucking spiky ass in trouble."
"Who has woke me from my nightmare?"
"Don't worry Cloud we'll be there for you all the time."
"Onii-san...."
"Yo Onii-san!!"
