In a world of pirates, the owner of, wealth, fame, power. One man had it all; Gold Roger the Pirate King. He owned the world, and collected all the buried gold in the world; One Piece. Not surpriseingly his last words before they loop off his head sent millions to the sea: "My treasure? Why, its right where I left it! Find it! But you'll have to search the world!" Million's of men set forth for the Grand Line and the world is about to enter a time of Piracy!
Summary: After eating the Devil Fruit of the Gomu Gomu tree, and facing Mount Bandit's, the village boy Monkey D. Rufi (Luffy) promises on a hat that he will become the next Pirate King, and return the straw hat to Shanks. A pirate manga, with fun art. Something that even in the most serious fight's can make you laugh with Luffy's crazy attacks, being a Rubber man, his entire movements are rubbery, it's really amusing. In any case, Luffy and his crew look for the ledgandary treasure One Piece (haven't you guessed yet?!?!?). The art and story are fun, and serious at times (*cough Arlong cough*) You can really get into the story, and the characters are really likeable.
