| Name: Nelch Wayto Gender: Female Race: Human Class: Fringer / Jedi Knight Age: 22 Born on Tatooine, her mother was a prostitute by the name of Lianes Wayto. A rough childhood of watching mother give her body away and hanging around smugglers and scum of the worst kind. She was however very bright and intelligent and learned trades in starship mechanics from scrounging around local docking bays and hangers. At a very young age though she was kidnapped from her home and put to work as a slave on a secluded part of the outer rim by a deviant General. As luck would have it though a band of mercenaries, dicovered later to be led and paid for by her father whom she never knew growing up, came to her rescue. She was returned home unaware that the entire purpose of the assault on the mines where she was beaten, raped, and put to non-stop labor was for her safe return. She to return to her mother, but when she found her in a wasteland of her own life, drugs, sex, old age making her poor excuse of a career path almost impossible to continue, Nelch was sickened. Neither of the two willing to give nor except help from the other Nelch ran away, dropped her last name, and joined a rouge group that was in need of a person that knew there way around a starship engine. She continued the life of a freelance mechanic until the day the Tower's campaign would begin. Nelch was my character. I am very proud at how she turned out and the campaign in general. The following is a quick timeline through the major events that happened specifically to Nelch during the campaign. - Meets Jek (played by Alder) - Gets hired to watch over Lightning Prism by Tyvek and his assosiate Briepa( Sam and Pat) - Meets Loso who reveals her force sensativeness - Meets Prince Barricks (Romantic interest 1) - Nelch is Presented to Jedi Counsel and is assigned to Sheb as an apprentice - Discovers Boshek is her father - Sheb is 'killed' by Thrawn - Nelch meets Valin Horn (Romantic interest 2) - Caleena takes Nelch as her new apprentice - Caleena dies fighting derriphan - Nelch discovers that Barricks has turned to the Dark Side - Loso takes Nelch as apprentice - Barricks proposes to Nelch, she replies "No" - Barricks attempts to kill Nelch, Saved by Valin and Loso - Nelch discovers Sheb is still alive - Thrawn reveals Sheb to Chiss rebels, Nelch and Sheb taken away by Thrawn himself The story of Nelch's final Battle.... Nelch and Sheb are escorted off of the bridge of the Rebel Chiss' flagship. Thrawn has locked both of there lightsabers in a sheilded box that he has strapped over his shoulder. Nelch simply asks 'Why are you doing this?' the entire way down several corridors. Thrawn tells his story that the universe is in too much Chaos. That the battle that is occuring right now between the Chiss and the Universes Allience will wipe out nearly everything. Then a clean slate will begin and that he intended not to lead his troops into the battle, but rather take a ship back to Courosant and rule the universe in a new era of absolute rule and order. Thrawn stops at an intersection that one route leads towards the brig, where as the other leads to the hanger where the Lightning Prism, one of the fastest ships in the galaxy, is located. Thrawn then has Sheb and Nelch turn to him. It is obvious that having them in custody on a ship that Thrawn is planning on having destoyed very soon is pointless. A few tremors are felt as the ship makes it's way into the thick of battle. Thrawn pulls out his blaster and points it at Sheb. He takes a moment to apologize to that she has to watch him shoot his mentor again. Nelch then attempts to jump Thrawn before he can get the shot off, but it was too late and Sheb was blasted square in the chest. Nelch pushes Thrawn back but is able to target Nelch with his blaster and get a shot off. However, right as it happened the ship was rocked much harder by a blast from the battle happening outside and the shot he got off was a grazing one that threw Nelch up against the wall of the corridor. Thrawn, realizing that time was running out and both the Jedi were down began running toward the hanger. Nelch, winded but not completely out of it and with her bindings now broken from colleding with the wall, got up and tended to Sheb. He was dying and Nelch had no way to help, so Sheb told her, "You have to stop Thrawn, you can do it...". She grabbed the case with our lightsabers that Thrawn had dropped. After wasting several valuable seconds trying to open it and failing she took the whole case and ran after Thrawn. Entering the hanger Nelch saw him close to the Lightning Prism. Yelling after him, Thrawn turned and took a cheap shot at Nelch with his blaster rifle from across the hanger. Nelch returned fire by swinging the entire case holding her and Shebs lightsabers with around and using it as a sling that knocked the blaster rifle from Thrawn's hand and it rolled too far away for him to recover it before having to confront Nelch. Now both of them unarmed, the young Nelch charged after the towering Admiral. Nelch got in the first few hits, But afterwards was quickly taken down to the ground and then proceeded to be kicked with Thrawn's steel toed boot. Lying on the floor, repeatedly kicked in the stomach and the lower ribcage. Nelch heard several of her ribs crack, and began spitting up blood. crawling around on the floor and gasping for air, she saw the blaster rifle that Thrawn had lost. The dilliema between weither to call on the dark side to gain the extra strength to draw the blaster to her hand in a last attempt to stop Thrawn. She choose not to surcumb to the Dark side and use what will she had left in her. She began to concentrate and extend her arm. Thrawn then gave one his harder kicks to Nelch's stomach. Nelch coughed up a large sum of blood nad things began to go dark. A cold feeling came across her hand that was extended. Scared at first, but then realized that it was the metal of the blaster. Now armed, Nelch turned over and pointed it right at Thrawn's chest and stated "Let's see if you fade", then fired. Thrawn was dead. Nelch eventually got up and returned the Sheb with the intention of taking him off of the ship. Sheb was on his last breathe. He asked Nelch if Thrawn was stopped, She answered. Then Sheb asked if she had done it in the matter of a Jedi. She replied "yes". Sheb then had a brief moment of relief and almost happiness, he then bestowed the rank of Jedi Knight on Nelch. She tried to help Sheb on to the ship after that, but he already knew that there was no point. He then died with Nelch at his side. Nelch stirred up the courage and the strength to get on the Lightning Prism and leave moments before the Chiss ship exploded in the battle. When Nelch docked her ship on one of the remailing capitol starships of the Universe's Alliance. A group of Jedi approached her and requested orders. As it turned out, Loso had told all of them that Nelch was to be in charge in his absence. That responcability would result in her playing a critical leadership role in the future of the Jedi. |
