At 1PM sharp, Sunday 9/14/03, the game started and everyone was playing on a fast pace, there were more passing and less talking, exactly like the game plan. Just 10 minutes into the game, Ahmed Nawzad, who is a mid-fielder for KURDISTAN, collided with AXIS goalie while both going for the ball. The goalie was kicked in the head, therefore he left the game bringing in a player off the bench to replace the goalie.
The game restarted, KURDISTAN with the ball. Only 5 minutes later, 15th minute, Hariri Karwan took a bullet-like shot to score the first goal; assist came from Sulaiman Sulaiman. 20 minutes later Sulaiman Salim touched the ball outside of the 18-yard box, giving AXIS a free-kick right on the line. The free-kick was taken by AXIS mid-fielder. The ball deflected and went straight in the goal. After all the game was tied 1-1. After that KURDISTAN players fired-up. 7 minutes later Omer Salar scored the 2nd goal; a back-flip assist from Sulaiman. AXIS started the game from the center and then immediately losing the ball. 2 minutes later, 44th minute, Sulaiman took the ball himself and scored; assist from Sindi Moayid. The first half ended after couple minutes with the score 3-1, KURDISTAN with the lead.
Mohammed Abullah, KURDISTAN keeper, changed with Sulaiman Salim to start the second half. A few minutes into the game the ball deflected and hit Alan's arm, inside of the 18-yard box. AXIS scored their second goal from the penalty kick and they were still down 2-3. After that moment, it was just an add-on for KURDISTAN. ON 60th minute Ahmed Nawzad scored the 4th goal and Sulaiman sealed the win with the 5th goal on 79th minute; assists came from Shamdeen Basheer and Sulaiman Sulaiman. The game ended with a great win from KURDISTAN, with the final score 5-2.
