On Sunday, 10/05/03, KURDISTAN faced FADO, undefeated team. This game was a must win for KURDISTAN; without winning this KURDISTAN would fall back and be in a big hole.
The crowd gathered on the sides of the field and players gotten ready to start the game. Exactly at 1pm the game started and the fans were just unbelievable. Out of the four previous games, this game was the hardest so far for both teams; the game was played on a whole different level. Half way into the first half, Sulaiman Sulaiman got the ball from Hariri Karwan, and then controlled the ball, dribbled between two defenders, shot and scored! Cheers were in the air! Fans were on their feet as first half came to an end after a few minutes, KURDISTAN with an early lead, 1-0.
FADO didn't give up just yet, after 15 minutes into second half FADO forward shot the ball and it got deflected of off Sindi Wallat foot, KURDISTAN defender, and it went into the goal. Sulaiman Salim, KURDISTAN keeper was confused as the ball deflected the defender's foot. The score was 1-1. The game was out of hands! Both teams were pushing and shoving each other and the referee didn't mind calling any fouls or offside.
About 10 minutes later, FADO scored their second goal and had their first lead of the game, 2-1. Kicking and pushing increased and the game went out of hands! Only 7 minutes later Sindi Wallat tackled FADO player inside the 18-yard box and gave FADO a penalty kick. The shot was taken and KURDISTAN keeper came up with an incredible save! Falling and holding the ball on the ground, FADO forward attacked the ball and kicked the keeper in the face! Playing a strong game with a referee that can't control the game and the passion to win the game from both teams, a fight started after the penalty kick. After the fight was broken up, referee ignited the game once more, giving the KURDISTAN keeper a yellow card and no cards to FADO players
Only 2 minutes after the fight, KURDISTAN players attacked one more time, but this time on the opponent's goal! Sulaiman Sulaiman got the ball from Sindi Moayid, passed two defenders and then gave the ball back to Sindi Moayid and he scored! In no time, KURDISTAN was in this game for one more time, with a score 2-2.
Only 6 minutes later, KURDISTAN gave up another goal because of the lack of defense. Only with a few minutes left from the game, KURDISTAN attacked and tried whatever they had left to tie the game, but it could not happen. With two minutes into the stoppage time, Sindi Wallat went after a lose ball and kicked an opponent's shin bone. FADO player (#30) fell on the ground and could not move. Emergency call was made (911). In about 3 minutes an ambulance and fire truck came. The ambulance drove into the field and picked the injured player. After Abdulkader Alan asked the referee, the "out of control" game ended there and everyone was talking about referee and his bad calls as they left the field.
After the game, Sindi Moayid went to hospital and had 3 stitches in his head. The cut happened on the second half while FADO player and Moayid were up for the ball.
