In the first half Omer Salar was on the target. In 17th minute Salar scored the first goal ever for KURDISTAN; assist came from Hariri Karwan. 19 minutes later Salar scored the second goal, giving KURDISTAN 2-0 lead. Before going to half time, BARCA started putting the pressure on KURDISTAN; they scored their first goal on 40th minute. The first half came to an end with the score 2-1, KURDISTAN with the lead.
In the second half players started feeling tired. BARCA still had pressure on KURDISTAN and they were looking for a tie. KURDISTAN gave up the lead on 64th minute, game was tied 2-2. Eight minutes later Abdulkader Jalak, who is a defender for KURDISTAN, gave BARCA a shocking penalty kick. The game was fallen apart as KURDISTAN gave 2 goals in the second half, giving BARCA 3-2 lead.
After KURDISTAN were down 2-3, they immediatly changed their lineup, going from 2 forwards to 3. Then Defender Sulaiman, Sulaiman changed his postion, heading to offense. With all the changes and pressure, KURDISTAN still came short with a heart-breaker loss in the opening game vs. BARCA with the final score 2-3.
