Lian Sunders, the first secretary in the British Embassy in Ankara and Malten Hider,
an expert of Middle East Affairs in the UK Foreign Office, are visiting Iraqi Kurdistan for a
few days to see new situations in the region, reported Al Sharq Al Awsat today.

During her meeting with the PUK leader, Lian Sunders confirmed to Mr.Talabani the
support of the British Government for the peace efforts in Iraqi Kurdistan according to
Washington Peace Agreement between the KDP and PUK.

"The British officials also renewed the invitation to Talabani to visit London.

In the areas run by KDP, the Biritish delegation met with the high level KDP officials in
Duhok.
