A joint KDP and PUK delegation met recently with several high level officials from US
State Department. According to sources in Iraqi Kurdistan,  Barham Salih, Prime Minister of
the PUK-led government, and Hoshiar Zebari,  the principal official of the KDP for
international relations, met in  Washington on March 20th with Alan Kezweter, Deputy
Assistant of USA Foreign  Secretary. On the 21st, the Kurdish delegation met with David
Whelch,  Assistant of USA Foreign Secretary for the International Relations and with  Failo
Dible, Assistant of USA Foreign Secretary for North Gulf.
