Put up or shut up? An Iraqi Kurdish delegation in the Pentagon this
week,
trying to nail down just what the Bush administration means when it
talks of
supporting the anti-Saddam opposition in Iraq, says it wants as a sign
of
good faith a visit to their territory in northern Iraq by a senior
administration official. Barham Salih, prime minister of the region
of
Kurdistan controlled by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, told UPI
that he
hoped that the Bush Administration would "take up the invitation soon."
