Kurdistan Governor Released On Bail

Sanandaj - Governor General of the Kurdestan Province Abdollah Ramezanzadeh who had
been summoned before the court on charges of dissemination of lies was released on a 100
million rial bail on Monday.

He was interrogated at the Bench 1403 of the Administrative Court. He appeared before the
court after the deputy secretary general of the Guardian Council lodged a complaint against
him.

Ramezanzadeh said his comments on the invalidation of votes of two constituencies Saqez
and Baneh in the Six Majlis elections were misinterpreted as leveling libelous statements
against the Guardian Council and trying to undermining the national unity.

He said he was dealt with respectably by the judge of the court.

The interrogation session was attended by the governor's lawyers Dr. Molaei and
Dr.Shekari.
