Hee hee I absolutely adore this show! You have to love Kenshin! he is soo cute though personally i have a thing for Battousai (so i have a thing for Samurai so what?) and you gotta love Sano, he is such a hottie.This like the other shows i watch has a limited amount of info from little old me because i majorly suck. But i do remember some important stuff. first off this show takes place in the tenth year of the Meiji era. So basically it's the late 1800's. Kenshin was Hitokiri Battosai during the Boshin war.... i think it was called the Boshin War. Oh quick FYI in the show it's the tenth year in the Manga it's the 11th. There are 4 main characters, Kenshin Himura, Kaoru Kamiya, Yahiko Myojin, and Sanosuke Sagara. um yeah so onto the info about my two fav on the show... |

I absolutely love Sano, his attitude is just great. When you first meet him he is a hired fighter. He tries to fight Kenshin because he blames the government for what happened to the Sekihou Tai. When he was 10 he belonged to that group and really looked up to the leader, Souzou Sagara. Souzou took Sano under his wing and cared for him. The Sekihou Tai were killed because they spread promises that the government couldn't keep, and Sano never forgave them for that. He hated the government and chose to be a fighter to live day to day. When he finally fough Kenshin, he lost but gained respect for him and quickly became his friend. Sano is kind of a dork, he's scared of trains and thinks that cameras can steal your souls. That's what they thought at the time but you gotta admit it is quite funny to see someone worry about that well that's all for now i will add later! |

Kenshin is a very cool guy. He feels his purpose is to protect those around him since he killed so many in the war. He feels bad for all the killing he did and promised himself to never kill again which is why he uses the reverse blade sword. His sword fighting style is called Hiten Mitsurugi. He is about 28 years old, it's kind of cute because in the Manga he isn't quite sure of his age so he has to try and figure it out. As much as I love Kenshin I love him even more as Battousai. I don't know why but I love when he looks all serious like he's ready to kill someone.... hmm i'm demented aren't I? don't worry this only applies to anime characters, if a real guy gave me that kind of look I'd probably freak out, cry and run. I just happen to like demented people, they're a whole lot of fun to watch! Anyway Kenshin was Battousai during the war he basically let a small part of him take over so he wouldn't feel too bad about everything.... i think. He only did what he did in the war because he was fighting for what he believed in, which is something everyone should do. |

I'll add more to this website later. This anime is really good you should all watch it. It's kind of a love story and it's got a lot of action, it is a kick butt show and should be watched by all. I highly recommend this show just as i highly recomend to Yu Yu Hakusho! anyway just watch this show you'll absolutely love it trust me! |
