Chapter 11

Angered and disappointed, Acro finished his journey and was spat out of the portal into his sanction; a castle bedroom.  He threw glasses, cut pillows, and cut down bedposts.  He ran over to the window and in the distance saw the Crying Mountains.  He looked down at his human hands and arms.  He stretched them and bent them to see what exactly he could do with his new stolen body.  He was already impressed with its stamina and strength.  He turned and looked at the room he had destroyed.  He smiled then turned back to the window, his anger rising again.
How could she have slipped through my hands?  I need that girl towait, what is that?
His eyes focused on one spot in particular, the forest.  A pink aura was flashing off in the distance.  It looked as though it were a barrier of some sort.  He felt an ever-familiar presence.  Something was pulling him in the direction of the Crying Mountains.  Acro became excited in an instant.
Its her, the one that tried to rescue her friend the other night, but why A thin line on his lips curled on the ends as he came to a sudden realization.  He remembered throwing her against a tree in the forest that night and wondered how it was that she could have gotten up so quickly when she should have been dead, or seriously wounded.
She is the second to the missing piece of the Lewej.  Acro ran out of the room and down a corridor into another chamber.  It was dark, damp, and the smell of death lurked in all corners.  Chains hung from various walls and skeletons of dead demons and humans lay everywhere.  Acro walked over to an old cupboard and took out an old jar with faded words on it.  He cupped it in his arm, left the chamber, and went back to the room he was in before.  When he reached the window he stuck the jar out the window and closed his eyes.
By the powers here within me, let the mysterious aura of that who is the seeker of the Lewej come to me. He repeated these words over and over until from within the jar awakened a spirit.  It twisted and twirled in front of Acro awaiting orders.
Go now to the barrier he pointed toward the Crying Mountains and bring back to me the one who controls that barrier. GO!  The spirit did as was commanded and flew towards the pink barrier, which surrounded a good portion of the Crying Mountains.  Acro pondered as to what could possibly have brought out that kind of energy in a human like Odeda.  He sighed heavily in frustration and weariness.  The body he had acquired needed rest and soon.  He had only until the next two full moons or his power would fade, the body would deteriorate, and it would be too late for him to take his revenge.
