Hi and welcome to a little section I like to call simple and easy gifts. Have you ever been invited to a housewarming, holiday party or other type of get-together and didn't know what to bring for the hostess? Well, that's what this page is for....to give you some ideas! These make very nice hostess gifts and require very little time to make. Some of them even kids can do! I will be adding to this page often but if you are in need of something specific, please feel free to email me and I will do my best to give you some suggestions. In the meantime, have fun and enjoy! ~S~



Herbal Bath Salts
Tall, clean bottle
Craf-T-Cork (AC Moore)
1 1/2 Cups Epsom Salt
3/4 Cup Sea Salt
1/2 Dried lavender, jasmine or rose
6 drops essential oil (lavender, jasmine, rose)

Mix epsom salt & sea salt in lg. ziploc bag. Add dried herb flowers & essential oil. Mix thoroughly by shaking & kneading bag. Fill bottle w/ salts & add cork to top.
Mulling Spices
Tall, clean bottle
Craf-T-Cork (AC Moore)
1 oz. dried orange peel
1 oz. whole cloves
1 oz. whole allspice
1 oz. star anise
6-8 cinnamon sticks (3 in.)
1 muslin spice bag

Layer spices in bottle in order above. Muslin spice bag should be rolled and tucked in behind cinnamon sticks.
Kitchen Gift
Hot pad
Recipe cards
Small wooden spoon
Cookie cutter
Raffia

Center recipe cards & wooden spoon in hot pad. Bring both sides of hot pad to center, covering recipe cards & spoon. Tie ends together with raffia & attach cookie cutter to center of raffia bow.
Hot Chocolate Mix
Clean jar
3 Cups powdered sugar
8 oz. non-fat dry milk
16 oz. instant chocolate milk
6 oz. Creamora

Mix ingredients and pour into jar. On gift tag, be sure to say to add 3 tbsp. per cup of hot water.
Friendship Tea
Jelly Jar
1/2 C instant tea powder
1 C lemonade powder
1 C orange Tang
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Mix all ingredients together & put in jelly jar. Attach a tag that reads: add 2-3 tsp. per mug.
Picture Frame
Paper mache frame
Paint
Stamps
Ink pads
Crayons
White glue
Sm. clear beads

Paint frame any color & let dry. Decorate as desired with stamps and/or crayons. (Be sure to completely cover frame) Spread a thin, even layer of glue all over frame & sprinkle on beads. Shake off excess beads & let dry overnight.
