KUNK main man & chief songwriter “BACKSTAB-guitar/vocals” had started working on ideas for this project in 1997, and it was later in that year that he first met “HANGMAN-drums/vocals” and the KUNK seed was first planted. However only a few jams were held at this time and it was not until 2001 that the partnership was re-established and KUNK “re-born”. In late 2001 a bass player was sought & Hangman introduced “HEADSHOT-bass” to Backstab. With their friendship & comradery secured the backbone was now complete… However something was missing & in January 2003 “O.D.-vocals” was presented to the band by Headshot as “the” vocalist … common sense prevailed & the line-up was now finalized.
