//:no body on the road
//:no body on the beach
It was dark, the sun had gone down hours ago, and Aaralyn pressed her foot to the gas pedal, accelerating through the intersection right as it turned yellow. Fuck that, there was NO time for red lights, she thought, looking around. It was almost Midnight, and she had taken a shortcut through Detriot... In search.
//:i feel it in the air
//:the summers out of reach
On a mission, for him. She turned down a street, that looked quieter, more set back from the rest of Detriot... And slowed down. She was going about 10-15 MPH, and usually she would be flipping out because she was an impatient person... but not tonight. With no one around she could drive as slow as she wanted. And she had to, or else she wouldnt be able to see, him.
//:empty lake
//:empty streets
Here it was, she thought, pulling to the left, and parking next to/on top of the curb. Okay, so she wasnt the best at parking. Everyone had their strong points... right? Right. She reached over to the passenger seat, and deciding that she couldnt reach what she was trying to get, she unbuckled her seatbelt and leaned over, picking up a camera, a notepad, a taperecorder and binoculars.
//:the sun goes down alone
//:im driving by your house
//:though i know your not home
She lifted the binoculars to her face to examine the house before her. This was it... The 12 foot high metal fence, designed to keep out unwelcome intruders, a safety device, she wanted to kill whoever installed it for him. The mansion behind it was set back, a driveway leading up to a garage. A basketball net hung on the top of the garage doors, a lonely basketball sitting in the lawn to the right of the driveway. A cool breeze blew across the property at that moment, and the trees to the sides rustled their leaves, almost eerily. The house was quiet, as most were at Midnight, but it wasnt because everyone was sleeping. No.
No one was home.
"SHIT!" Aaralyn cursed, pointing the binoculars to his window in hope of some movement. Nothing. He was gone. When did she miss this?
She threw the binoculars down, and they made an unhealthy sound as they hit the camera, but she didnt care. She grabbed the notepad and flipped through a few pages, until she found what she was looking for.
"Dont worry baby, Ill get you someday..." She sighed and kissed the magazine cut out of Eminem, before placing it back in the notepad and returning it to the passenger side seat, starting the car again and speeding off.
//:but i can see you

A few days later, Aaralyn had arrived in LA and was now on a bike, following the SUV that carried Mr Marshall Mathers himself. She HAD to meet him, see him, talk to him, *have* him. She deserved him. She weaved in an out of traffic on her bicycle, eyes concentrated mostly on the SUV.
She figured that she could take a car, but if people ever cut her off, shed lose him, or if she hit a red light and his went just in time, she didnt want to have to blow red lights to get to him. Plus, a bike following behind someone is less conspicious then a car. She would have thought, anyways. There was no way that they suspected anything, she was just excersizing if they stopped to ask, and hey she got to see eminem out of it.
Of course, seeing him wasnt just what she wanted.
A horn beeped and she jerked her head around, to see where the beep had come from. She couldnt see anyone, and turned back to the road in front of her, eyes widening when she realized that she had lost him. He must have turned and she hadnt realized it. Fuck, she would never find him. By the time she turned around, you would never be able to tell where he had gone.
"Fuck!" She exclaimed, stopping herself and putting her feet down as she began to slow. Its okay. She still had plan B tonight.
//:i never would forget those nights
//:i wonder if it was a dream
She rolled over, eyes closed, and yawned, sitting up and blinking as she heard the alarm going off beside her bed. It was still dark... It was almost 2 AM. Perfect. She smiled and threw her legs over the side of her bed, she was already clothed, having slept in her clothes, and grabbed her keys. She had to be ready.
//:remember how you made me crazy
//:remember how i made you scream
It must have a been a dream, but it seemed so real, her and Eminem, sitting there talking, except he was mad. As if she had done something to hurt him? She had never done ANYTHING to hurt him, but him on the other hand. Ignoring her, pretending like she didnt even exist. She sent him fanmail everyday and never once got a response. She belonged to all of his websites, she sat in Eminem chat rooms all day, she had her walls plastered with him, she loved him.
And he didnt even care.
//:i dont understand what happened to our love
//:but babe im gonna get you back
//:im gonna show you what im made of
Sneaking into a hotel was NOT easy. Aaralyn would be the first to tell you this... But it could be done. With the right equiptment. Ductape, slippers, a towel, and 6 of those mints that they put on your pillows.
Hey! A girls gotta eat, alright?!
She crept down the hall, looking both ways. Of course, his hotel room would be locked. But... She could get around that. She grinned as she tossed a mint down the otherside of the hall, and his security gaurd looked around, not seeing her behind the corner, smirking. He walked off down the hall towards where the tiny mint had landed, and she sprinted towards the door. She had to work fast.
//:i can see you
//:brown skin shining in the sun
//:i see u walkin real slow
//:your smiling at everyone
//:i can tell you my love for you will still be strong
//:after the boys of summer have gone
She crawled along the floor, once in his hotel room. She could hear him breathing, his door was shut, although not tight. Once she had picked the lock she had used ducttape to make sure that it didnt close, she could just wrench it open and run if something went wrong. His room was dark, and it was a mess, she thought, crawling carefully along the floor, narrowing her eyes at the clothes all over the floor.
See? He needed her! She would clean for him! She looked up, watched the lump under the blankets move up and down, his breathing. Her eyes widened. It was a good 80 degrees in here, she was almost breaking a sweat, and he was under a blanket. Go figure. Some of his stuff was pretty cool. She looked up at the dresser, and table around her, the bed behind her, and saw his cell phone and wallet n his bedside table.
Nice...She grinned and reached up, grabbing his wallet and began going through it. She didnt want his money, she didnt want to steal anything from him, she just wanted to look at some of his stuff.
Social security card... Phone number to something.... Picture of Hailie, picture of hailie when she was a baby, a couple dollars, 2 credit cards, his liscense (he looked like he was getting a mug shot taken. She grinned. Some of it was hard to read, but the light from the window helped. Crammed into one pocket was about 5 thousand receipts, from food, to random items, to toys, all in his wallet. He was quite the little packrat, she thought, putting the wallet on the table and moving her hand over to grab the cell phone.
A hand grabbed hers, and she gasped, jumping back, but he still had her by the hand.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" He screamed, eyes wide, not sure what to do. "HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET IN HERE?" Midsentence, his security guy burst through the door, and promptly ran to the side of Ems bed to grab the young girl crouching beside it, Ems hand holding hers so tight his knuckles were white.
Aaralyn just stood up, and bit her bottom lip, scared shitless. She knew this was a bad idea...
"WHERE WERE YOU WHEN SHE GOT IN HERE?!" Marshall screamed, pulling the blanket over his boxer clad figure. The light had switched on as another security gaurd walked in to see what was going on. "DOESNT ANYONE DO THEIR JOB AROUND HERE?"
"I was uh," His security froze. He was eating a candy. Thats what he was doing.
"You got something in your- front tooth, chocolate?" Aaralyn tilted her head to one side. "Mmm, minty fresh breath!"
"SHUT UP!!" Marshall screamed. "SHUT UP!!! GET THE FUCK OUT, GET OUT!" He yelled, as his security gaurd picked at his tooth and then yanked Aaralyn from the room.
Marshall flopped backwards on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He needed new security. He needed it, NOW.
//:thought i knew what love was
//:what did i know?
//:those days are gone forever
//:i should just let them go but...
She was read her rights, and put into a police car, security had decided that she wold be taken to the station for the night, and released in the morning, after she thought about what she had been doing.
She looked out the window at the large hotel, and shook her head. They couldnt keep her in jail forever, she thought, as the police car drove away. Some people had woken up at the confusion, and were watching out their hotel windows as the car left the parkinglot, and she sunk low in the backseat, shaking her wrists to entertain herself by listening to the clinking noise of the handcuffs.
