/Guilty Consceince/

/Chapter 4/

"You guys back?" She raised an eyebrow. "Where did you go?"

"No where, for a walk," Marshall walked up the stairs, bending over to kiss her cheek lightly as he passed her. "You comin inside baby?" He asked, standing up straight and looking down at her.

"In a minute, when Im done with this ciggarette." She answered.

"Okay, Im gonna go get something to eat, Im fucking hungry." He sighed. Gotta love the munchies.

"Kay," She nodded.

"Ill sit with you," Murry thought outloud, sitting next to Kim as Marshall walked into the house.

"So you guys smoke?" Kim asked, boredly, looking at the steps, as she flicked the ciggarette ashes off the end of it.

"Howd you know?" Murry asked.

"Murry, your so stoned. You reek of it. So does Marshall. Thats all I can fuckin smell," She chuckled to herself. "Go to the park? How come I didnt get to come?"

"Kuz you pissed me off." Murry shrugged. She had no problem telling Kim things like that. Kim didnt have a problem hearing that either. They didnt care, they knew each other would get over it.

"Oh," Kim took another puff of the ciggarette, and glanced at Murry as she held out her hands.

"Can I have a drag?" Murry asked, and Kim handed her the ciggarette, clearing her throat as she did. "So," Murry took a drag and handed it back to Kim, and let the smoke seep out through her nose. "We were at the park, and Rye and his fuckheads came to start shit with me," Murry said, looking at Kim as Kim took a drag.

"Why? About what?" Kim asked, already pissed off at Rye. No one liked him, except for his fuckheads, Markus, Donny and TJ.

"Rememeber, like 2 weeks ago, Kenny paid for half of the shit I bought from Rye? That day we went to the park and Kenny and Al were skating?" Al was Kennys best friend. Kim nodded and Murry continued. "Okay, he paid half, that was enough of what Rye needed, and said I could pay the rest back to him when I got the money from selling the shit, so it was like a deal?"

"Yeah, but you paid him..." Kim said slowly.

"Uh, no I sold it all, I paid back Kenny, and then I used the other 50 bucks to buy from John Caparaso, and I dont owe him anything, but I bought more so I'll have enough to pay back Rye and still make a profit." She explained.

"What? You should have paid back Rye first, THEN Kenny. And you shouldnt spend other peoples money, damn Murry. What are you gonna-" Kim shook her head, exasperatedly. Murry was REALLY bad with money.

"No, listen. I got this deal coming through, thursday night, with Als friend, and some kid hes friends with, and Im gonna get enough money out of that to pay back Rye, and have some left for myself, Ill make like 125 off that deal." She explained.

"How the fuck you figure? If you bought 50 worth from John, how can you turn 50 into 125?" Kim tossed the ciggarette down on the stairs when she was done with it, and grinded her heel into it.

"Well, I also have other stuff besides weed, I got some shrooms from Kenny a while back, I never ate them, I have like 12 caps. Thats gonna get me alot, right there. Hes paying more than 50 for the weed, I split it." Murry said, as Kim stood up. "Look, I got it under control, all I have to do is get Rye to fuck off until next Friday, and then I'll be good."

"Better hope that deal dont fall through." Kim shook her head and turned, opening the screen door, and stepping inside, holding it open for Murry. She took the door from Kim and walked into the house behind her.

"Believe me, it wont." Murry assured her. "I know it wont."

"Yo, Mur, bring yo ass in here!" DeShaun yelled.

"Yeah?" Murry asked casually, walking into the room, laughing as she almost bumped into the wall, and took a seat on the floor in front of the coffee table, in front of the couch, facing Denise.

Kim walked in the room behind her, and got up onto the couch beside Marshall, and scooched closer to him, and he put his arm around her waist, her hand resting on his thigh. DeShaun looked at Murry and shook his head. "What you wanna do?"

"I dont know, why are you asking me?" Murry shrugged.

"Because he wants to smoke," Denise laughed. "And I told him you have some."

"I dont have any, right now..." She said slowly. It was the truth. She smoked most all of it, and what she did have, was not enough to get like 8 people high. "Not enough, anyway." She corrected herself, shrugging.

"Oh, damn," DeShaun sighed. "Okay, what else you wanna do?"

"Your parents got anything to drink?"

"Uh," DeShaun shrugged. "Who knows? Probably, knowing them."

"Well, go look and we can drink... otherwise, I dont know." She shrugged.

"Is that all you think about?" Joey asked. "Getting stoned or wasted? Is that all you ever wanna do anymore?"

"What the FUCK is your problem? You asked me, I gave some SUGGESTIONS, I didnt say we had to." She glared at him. "Next time dont ask."

"DeShaun asked, dumbass, your probably too stoned to know the fuckin difference." He said, rolling his eyes.

"Fuck you, at least I dont have a stick up my ass." She said, this was fucked up. Was he trying to piss her off? Could this night get any worse?

"Bitch-" Joey yelled.

"Guys, shut UP." Denine coughed, and then continued. "Im sick of all your bullshit."

Matt stood up, and walked out of the room. "Where you going?" Marshall called after him.

"Bathroom man," Matt grinned and walked into the bathroom.

"Hes gonna go jerk off," Murry teased, grinning. Why dwell on Joeys bullshit? She could still make the best of this night.

"If he gets off tonight, I wanna too," Marshall said eagerly.

"Man," DeShaun shook his head. "I dont care, long as its not my bed..."

"See?" Marshall nudged Kim.

"Shut up," Kim shook her head and blushed, looking down. Murry looked at Marshall, and he laughed at the look of disgust on her face. Murry hated thinking that Kim and Marshall did anything sexual together. As much as she supported their relationship, and them, she couldnt picture it, and she wouldnt want to. It made her want to choke herself.

"Wanna watch Breakin?" DeShaun asked, looking through his tapes, under the tv table.

"I dont care," Joey crossed his arms and leaned back against the side of Denines chair. Denine shrugged.

"Sure," Denise shrugged, and Murry nodded. She didnt care what they watched. Maybe it would make Joey shut the fuck up.

"I seen that, like 50 million fuckin' times," Kim sighed. Marshall was silent. Breakin reminded him of Ronnie, but whatever, he'd watch it. Marshalls uncle Ronnie had killed himself not long ago, and it hurt, but he didnt mind watching the movie. Whatever everyone else was fine with, he didnt care. He was very impartial about things like that.

"Aight," DeShaun pulled the tape out of the box and put it into the VCR as Matt walked back in the room and sat down beside Murry.

"What we watching?" He asked, looking around. Denine reached up behind him and switched the light off.

"Breakin," Kim answered, before anyone else got the chance. "Again." She added. Murry reached behind her and punched Kims leg playfully.

"Shut up Kim," She grinned. Kim kicked the back of her head gently, and Murry turned around, mouth dropped open in fake shock. "Marshall did you see that?" She asked, laughing at Kims innocent look.

"Nope, didnt see anything, I swear, I was looking the other way-" Marshall said quickly, as Kim squeezed his thigh, her nails making themselves evident through his jeans.

"Whatever!" Murry laughed and turned around as DeShaun pressed play and sat back.

"Shut up, Murry, its starting." He whispered.

"Its the credits!" She giggled.

"Shhh!" Denine grinned at her. She was so funny sometimes, just the way everyone picked on her and she put up with it, it was just cute sometimes.

"Ow, Kim, you can let go now, OW THAT FUCKING HURTS!" Marshall hissed, grabbing Kims hand off his thigh.

"Marshall shut up," Denise yelled across the room. "Ive never seen it before!"

"The begginging is the best part,-" Murry said quickly.

"Shut up," Joey said loudly, annoyed at his friends that never stopped fucking talking.

"Fuck you," Murry hissed at him.

"Im sorry baby," Kim whispered, leaning into Marshall to kiss him.

"Joey, leave Murry the fuck alone, Murry stop pissing him off." Matt tried to mediate them, his eyes focused on the tv.

A minute later, Murry sighed and spoke again, eliciting groans and grunts from the rest of the people in the room, showing that everyone was very annoyed that no one shut up. "All I can hear behind me, is Marshall and Kims smacking their lips, eating each others fucking faces."

"Fuck off," Kim said promptly, and giggled, leaning into Marshalls side and resting her head on his shoulder.

"You guys, seriously, cut the shit," Denise said, annoyed beyond belief at everyone.

"Shut-" Kim started but DeShaun cut her off.

"KIM, SHUT THE FUCK UP! MARSHALL GET YOUR HAND OUT OF KIMS SHIRT," Marshall moved his hand right away, wondering how DeShaun caught that. "MURRY LEAVE KIM AND MARSHALL ALONE, DENISE WATCH THE FUCKING MOVIE AND JOEY, DONT SAY ANYTHING." DeShaun yelled, rolling onto his stomach and propping his elbows on the floor in front of him, his chin in his hands as he watched the screen. The credits were over, and the movie was starting.

"How'd you know my hand was in her shirt?" Marshall whispered, in awe.

"I didnt, I was just trying to catch you, was it really?" DeShaun looked around and grinned as Marshall nodded. "Niice. But shut up."

"Ok." Marshall laughed and rested his chin on the top of Kims head, eyes intently staring at the screen.

Murry smiled. She loved it... This is how they watched every movie. Everyone would talk all the way through it, and piss the rest of the people off, and cause them to talk, and they pissed everyone else off, and by the end of the movie someone was usually covered in bruises or not speaking to someone else, or both. She loved her friends, she thought happily, as Matt turned around and whispered something to Marshall, who laughed, and Denise hissed, "SHH!" one more time.

-----------

The first one to wake up the next morning, was Joey. He yawned and rolled onto his side, and opened his eyes, staring right into DeShauns face. He jumped a little at the unexpected site of DeShaun, laying next to him, unnessarily close, drool trickling down the side of his face. Joey smiled and sat up, twisting his head to one side until it cracked, and then to the other until he heard the same familiar sound, and looked around. Denise was laying back in the armchair, covers up over her head, one foot sticking out hanging over the side of the chair. Murry was sprawled on the floor, half under the coffee table, Denine was slumped on the chair next to Denise, and Matt was using Murrys leg as a pillow. Marshall and Kim were cuddled up on the couch with an afgan over them, though he couldnt see Kim, she was inbetween the couch and Marshall, and Marshalls back was to the room.

He grinned and stood up, stepping carefully over the bodies on the floor to the kitchen, and glanced at the clock on his way across the kitchen to the bathroom. It was almost 11 o clock. He fell asleep through the middle of the movie, somewhere around 2 AM. He didnt know when anyone else fell asleep, but it couldnt have been much later than him.

When he got out of the bathroom, he closed the door quietly and flicked the lightswitch, and slowly walked across the kitchen. His feet padding quietly on the tiles as he moved. He yawned again, and looked into the livingroom again. Everyone was still sleeping, and he went back into the kitchen, and took a seat at the table, waiting for everyone to wake up.

A few minutes later, he looked up when he saw someone standing in the doorway out of the corner of his eye. It was Murry, her hair was messed up and sticking up everywhere and he choked back a laugh, and she flipped him off and walked towards him.

"So what the fuck," She asked, pulling out a chair, and sitting down across from him.

"What? Oh, your hair! You look like some kind of, fluffy thing." He laughed quietly, making sure not to be to loud. He didnt want to wake anyone up.

"No, I know, it sucks in the morning," She sighed and put her elbow on the table. "I meant last night, were you on a heavey day yesterday or something?"

"Oh..." He shrugged and scratched the back of his neck. "I was just annoyed. Im sorry I was such an asshole."

"Okay," She nodded, and looked down. "What made you change your mind?"

"What?" He couldnt talk serious like this first thing in the morning. He gave her credit for trying though, thats for sure.

"Why are you suddenly being nice?" She asked slowly. God, did she have to spell it out for him? She wasnt this thick when she was stoned! She grinned as he shrugged. "You never do stay mad at me long."

"How can I?" He laughed at her. "You need me."

"I know." She said quietly. "Just, dont give me so much shit all the time, cut me some slack, aight?"

"Okay." He nodded. Wait, he was apologizing? For what? Worrying about her? Oh hell no. "Wait, um, Yeah, Im still pissed that you are doing this shit again, but I guess, I wont bitch at you about it. Not until something bad happens anyways. And Im not helping you out. Ill tell you that right now. I will not put myself in the middle of shit for your drugs. If you wanna do them, go ahead. But dont ask me for ANY help with whatver it is you do with them."

"I wont need your help," She said, annoyed. He was so full of himself sometimes. Like she would actually run to him, hes the last person she would turn to in this situation. He didnt know shit about what she was doing, he thought he did but no, he had no idea.

"Your dealing again?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, and looking up at her.

"Who told you that?" She asked carefully.

"Word gets around..." He said unenthusiastically. "Just watch yourself, thats all."

"I know, I watch myself. Dont worry, Im what, 18? I can take care of myself." She said, a hint of attitude showing through her voice.

"I hope so." He said quietly, looking down.

"Can you guys shut up? Im trying to sleep!" They grinned at each other as they heard Denine yell that from the other room, waking up DeShaun, who promptly sat up, and smacked Denine as hard as he could, first place he could reach him, which happened to be his shin. "OW!"

"Your to fuckin' loud," DeShaun got up, and staggered through the room, nearly tripping over Matt. "Shit," He mumbled, making his way towards the bathroom.

"Gotta love it when people wake up," Joey grinned, crossing his arms and sitting back in the chair.

"Oh yeah." Murry laughed. "So we okay?" She asked, raising both eyebrows.

"We're okay," he nodded, confirming her question, and she grinned.

"Good." She grinned. "I was really sick of fighting with you."

"Yeah, and you dont give up," He laughed. "I love it."

She smiled proudly. Her stubbornness was one of her favorite qualities about herself. That and her sense of humor. The bathroom door opened, and DeShaun stepped out, and walked over to the table, at the same time that Denine got up off his chair and came into the kitchen. Denine took a seat beside Joey at the table, and DeShaun walked over to the fridge, and pulled out a bottle of water.

"Ya'll want anything?" He asked, glancing over at them. Murry and Denine shook their heads, and Joey turned around.

"Man, you got food?" Joey licked his lips. "I want food..."

"Ya want cereal?" Deshaun shrugged and walked over to the cabinet, opening it and looking into it at its contents. "If you think Im fucking making you pancakes for breakfast, you got another thing coming. Cereal, uh, oatmeal, whatever you want its in here. You can make it yourself, right Joey?" He grinned and walked away from the cabinet, leaving the door open for Joey, and stealing his seat when he got up.

"I guess so." Joey pushed his chair out and walked over to the cabinet, to find something to eat.

"They better wake up soon, or Im goin in there," DeShaun muttered, glancing towards the livingroom.

"I think Denine probably woke most of them up..." Joey said, not looking away from the cabinet.

"Aha!" DeShaun laughed and shook his head, uncapping the waterbottle. "Man, I just dont know what time my sisters coming home at. So ya'll need to at least be out in the next hour or two."

"I dont care," Murry shrugged. "Dont matter to me. I think Ima actually leave pretty soon, I gotta go home, take a shower and then I have to go over to talk to Kenny about something." She said, standing up.

"Okay," Deshaun nodded. "You want, a hat, or something? You cant go out looking like that, its an embarassment to everyone that knows you..."

"Man, she needs a fuckin' paper bag," Joey laughed, and Murry smiled, despite herself.

"What the fuck?" She laughed, shaking her head. "Assholes. Yeah, can I get a hat?"

"I think, I left one on the railing of the stairs yesterday...." DeShaun thought. "Otherwise theres one up in my room, you know where my hats are."

"Yeah, I got it. Thanks kid." She said, nodding and walking into the hallway to the stairs. Sure enough, there wasnt one on the railing, so she quickly ascended the stairs, to get a hat. She had to get to Kennys, talk to him about last night. This whole Rye thing was out of hand. Rye was gonna fuckin' get it when Kenny found out.

She took a hat from DeShauns bureau and put it on her head backwards, and went downstairs, quietly so she didnt wake anyone up running down them. She walked back into the kitchen, and towards the backdoor. "Aight guys, Ill see you guys later, Im out. Tell everyone I said bye, aight?" She pushed the screen door open, and DeShaun nodded, taking a sip of his waterbottle.

"See ya," Denine called to her.

"Shut up," DeShaun whispered. "Bye Murry," he said quietly, not wanting to wake anyone up. Did anyone know what it was like to wake up KIM? Theyd get their nuts ripped off so fast...

Joey waved, pouring his cereal, and walked back over to the table to sit with DeShaun and Denine. Murry hopped down the back stairs and started on her way around to the front of the house.
