With an all star cast and a list of great directors, Sin City promises
to please, and it comes through big time. The movie is based on a graphic novel
written by Frank miller called, you guessed it, Sin City. The whole graphic
style and flow of the movie actually make you feel like your watching a
comic. The scenes are often black and white with a touch of color here and
there, matching the artistic style of Frank Miller.
The movie is seperated into parts, telling the stories of three different
characters. Out of all three, the character Marve, played by Mickey Rourke,
steals the show. He's almost like a type of
anti superhero. This guy takes beatings that any normal man would die from.
And to make things even more interesting they add a little martial art action from the character Meho played
by Devon Aoki. She is a super sexy stealth ninja that does her fair share of
hacking and slashing. The movie is filled with gory situation, like canabilism
for example, so the squeemish may want to stay away from this title. Over all,
Sin City is a top notch movie. If you enjoyed Kill Bill, this movie is right
up your alley.

Straight from the pages of Miller's hip series of Sin City graphic novels,
Bruce Willis stars as a cop with a bum ticker and a vow to protect a sexy
stripper (Jessica Alba); Mickey Rourke as an outcast misanthrope on a mission
to avenge the death of his one true love; and Clive Owen as Dwight, the
clandestine love of Shellie, who spends his night defending Gail and her
Old Town girls from a tough guy (Benicio Del Toro) with a penchant for
violence.
