Once Upon a Time in China II meets up to the first film, but where the first movie has a great story and good fighting scenes, this one excels in the action while the story isn't as good as the first. Yuen Wo Ping brings his one of a kind style to this movie with eye opening action sequences that are done with extreme detail and a quality that only Yuen can bring to the table. If your into action more than anything else, then this will most likely be your favorite of the series. A great movie that I recommend to everyone, especially if you enjoyed the first.

In this sequel, martial arts expert Wong Fei Hung (Jet Li) arrives in canton to demonstrate the art of Chinese acupuncture. Unbeknownst to him, however, the city is on the bring of revolution, as pro- democracy rebels and anarchists alike threaten the stability of a crumbling dynasty.
