Kill Bill was a dream come true for me. The movie has aspects from
kung-fu, swordplay, samurai, spaghetti western, and anime films, all
of which I love. This movie makes so many references to other
movies it's overwhelming. Some people may have a problem with that,
but I found it extremely interesting waiting to see what I'd notice
next. Like the sound effects from 5 Fingers of Death, or the reference
to "The Man with no Name" trilogy played by Clint Eastwood. Over all
a great film. Some may not enjoy it as much as others, but most will
find some aspects of this movie enjoyable. The squeamish may want to
stay away from this title due to the excessive amount of blood during
the fight with the Crazy 88. Those who regularly watch bloody kung fu flicks will
have no problem with the gory end battles. Quentin Tarantino's 4th
installment stands up well against his other movies and secures his
spot of one of the most influential directors of his time.

Uma Thurman plays the Bride, a woman who was supposed to have been
killed on her wedding day. But she didn't die, and 4 years later she
awakes to find her whole life has been taken from her. She didn't start
the fight, but she is out to finish it. With a newly made sword from
a samurai master, The Bride is out on a mission to kill Bill and the
4 assassins responsible for her betrayal. She cuts her way through
two of her adversaries and the Crazy 88 gang by the end of the
film. All that is left is two more assassins... and don't forget Bill.
Stay tuned for vol 2.
