Karate Warriors is in a way a rip-off of Yojimbo. Chiba stars as a karate fighter in the middle of two warring clans getting rich working for both sides (sound familiar). Although the movie isn't half bad, this is a poor attempt at remaking a classic. Even though the story is played out, the fighting is great. With a slow down speed up type of effect, it makes Chiba's kicks and punches look extremely powerful. Although this movie isn't that great, if your a hardcore martial art fan you'll most definitely enjoy the fight scenes. Chiba even busts out a samurai sword in the later parts of the flick. A good action movie, but as far as the story goes, not very good.
