Over all a solid kung fu flick. Gordon Liu makes a cameo in the
movie and also directs the picture as well. Lo Leih (Five Fingers of
Death) also makes an appearance as Pai Mei. The movie is full of comedy,
action and character development. You basically go through the life of
the main character Hung Sze Kuan from the time he escapes the Shaolin
temple until his son kills Pai Mei. Some unusually good acting went
into this film and is a great Shaw Brothers movie to add to your
collection. A very well rounded movie.

Pai Mei kills the abbot of a Shaolin temple but some of it's students
survive. One vows to kill Pai Mei and get revenge for his master. He
trains for years and decides to challenge Pai Mei. But he is much to
powerful. He escapes and trains for even longer and harder than
before. He challenges Pai Mei once again but is killed. Now his son,
who knows his mother's style of kung fu called the crane style, must
use his fathers manual and combine the tiger and crane style to beat
Pai Mei. In a final showdown, his son must battle Pai Mei and take revenge
for his father.
