Not a bad movie. The story is one of those where the main character vows to give up fighting for some reason and basically has to fight again because of some tragedy. We've all seen it done in Bruce Lee's Fists of Fury (US), and this is just a different version. All in all, good fighting scenes and an ok story make this a good movie if you can find it cheap. If you like Fists of Fury you should enjoy this movie.

Kang Tau Kan is a young martial art fighter that helps businessmen defend their property from local thugs. When summoned to his fathers Deathbed, he vows to give up fighting and lead a simple life and support his mother and sister.

But an evil land developer tries to buy out Kangs land, but he refuses to sell and also can't fight because of his promise. Since Kang wont sell, Wang burns his house down in order to kill him and his family, but only get Kangs mother and sister.

Kang must break his vow and sets out to avenge his family. After some battles Kang get his revenge, but he is also charged with murder and goes to jail.
