There's good,there's bad..and then there's those pages that exhibit supreme class..Those pages which meet the criteria that I've listed below will qualify for this ahem,prestigious award..
Good looking:Site must be layed out in some way that's nice to look at..A scattered bunch of links with size 26 font is a definate "no"..
Creative Stuff: Site must have something special on it..Something that you created yourself so that I get the idea that it took you longer than 30 minutes to make the whole thing..A bunch of stolen pics, and links is NOT spiffy....
User Friendly:Normally I wouldn't like frames..They're somewhat of a pain, but if yours work, then that's a definate plus..Plus um, I REALLY hate that automatic midi music stuff..At least put a button or something so that I can turn it off..
Load Time:I know Geocities takes a while to load..But even then, your front page shouldn't be so huge and filled up with useless pics and animation so it takes me 20 minutes for it to load..
Fun/Informative:When someone goes to your site, they should be able to get something out of their visit..If your site consists of little more than a few links and three pictures then don't count on getting anything from me..:)
Working links and pictures:I know that if you have a huge link page, then it's going to be hard to keep all of them working all the time, so I won't be really mean about that..Your pics and links on your front page should work though..
Signing The Guestbook: It's just common courtesy, if I'm gonna spend my time looking at your site, then I want to at least have the happiness of thinking that your actually took time to look around my site..
Note- I'm always willing to upgrade your award to a Martini if you have truly made improvements and you ask nicely..=D
This is for pages that don't quite have the class, or coolness of the Martini pages..They may just be new but have potential, or they have a few things wrong with them. In any case, this is still a cool thing to get, but I'd strive for a Martini..:)
