Phase Two

- Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

- The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.

- The sun was shining in my eyes, and I could barely see
To do the necessary task that was allotted me.
Resentment of the vivid glow, I started to complain--
When all at once upon the air I heard the blindman's cane

- Life is unsure, always eat your dessert first.

- The trouble with doing something right the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it was.

- To think is easy. To act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult

- We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.

- Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths.

- Men love putting women on a pedestal because it's so much more satisfying when they knock them off. They fall farther.

- I think, therefore I'm single.

- Men are irrelevant. Women are happy or unhappy, fulfilled or unfulfilled, and it has nothing to do with men.

- We choose those we like; with those we love, we have no say in the matter.

- The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation

- It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.

- Sometimes I wish I were a little kid again, skinned knees are easier to fix than broken hearts

- Have you ever been hurt and the place tries to heal a bit, and you just pull the scar off of it over and over again

- I never knew until that moment how bad it could hurt to lose something you never really had.
