| the yummy yummy Kumquat? club... * why a kumquat? * for the magority of his career as a high school student, el flippo worked for kroger, the local grocery store. after his first year as a bagger, he was moved from department to department. he was eventually placed in the produce department. while pondering what to refer to his stupid comic as, he began to make a list of possibilities, and after seeing kumquats on the shelf in his department, he added it to his list, chuckling to himself as he did so. that night, he accidentally left this list in the back food preparation room. when he returned a day or two later, he found this list still where he left it, except for the fact that someone had looked through the possibilities that he had written down, and had seen the word "kumquat" written there. In response to this, they replied simply with a question mark. after finding a bizarre humor in this, el flippo decided to name his stupid comic "Kumquat?" that's right...with a question mark. * back * |
